7/15 Racing Update:

Sorry for the lack of frequent updates—there have been a few race dates that were cancelled by the track due to circumstances outside of their control resulting in a large break between races for the Limited Late Model division. The good news is that the TDR Performance-powered Performance Air, Curtis Drainfields Lazer finally received the wrap from Hawkeye Graphics and we think it came out great! (Let us know in the comments if you agree.)

With a terrible pill draw, we started last in the heat race and battled with the 24K car the entire race but was unable to advance, finishing 8th. Watching from the infield, there was obviously something wrong with the rear suspension causing the rear of the car to bounce and eventually make a hard turn into the outside wall coming to the checkered flag which caused additional damage. This forced James Snead to do a 1-lap “start and park” for the feature, resulting in an 8th place finish.

Our next points race will be Friday, August 26th at Potomac Speedway in Budds Creek, Maryland for the Marshall and Associates Insurance / Caruth & Sons Concrete race. We are also in the planning stages of displaying our car and showcasing our wonderful sponsors at the Caroline County Sheriff's Office, VA National Night Out on Tuesday, August 2nd. More details to follow as we finalize our plans.

A big thank you to our wonderful sponsors and everyone who helps us both on and off the race track:

4/1 Racing Update:

James Snead piloted the TDR Performance-powered Curtis Drainfields, Performance Air Lazer Late Model to an 8th place finish in a field of heavy hitters at the $1,000 to win season opener for the Limited Late Models at Potomac Speedway on April 1st.

The night started out on a low note as the car sustained some body damage during hot laps as the field was returning to green from a caution for a spun car. The damage repair prevented us from making any changes for the heat race and the car was way too free for the track conditions burying us deep in the field for the start of the feature race.

Despite the damage and being behind on changes, the #31 showed speed during the 25 lap feature as James spent most of the race in a fierce 2-car battle with Daniel Garrett's 81 machine. Daniel and James finished the race 7th and 8th respectively, ending the night with no additional damage.

Our next race will be this Friday, April 22nd at Potomac Speedway in Budds Creek, Maryland for the Quade's Flooring Night $1,000 to win Limited Late Model race. This will be "Kids Ride Night", so be sure to bring your kids for a ride around the speedway!

We would like to thank Kevin Curtis and Judy Martin / Curtis Drainfields, Tim Perry / Performance Air, Rocky Jett II / Jett Distribution, Mark Parks Racing, Troy Dowdy / TDR Performance, Tyler Emory / TZ Industries, Brent Bordeaux and John Bordeaux / Bordeaux Racing, Hayden Townsend / Hawkeye Graphics, Dirt Track Disciples and everyone that supports us on and off the track.
