You've trusted us with your vehicles after accidents, during stressful moments, and when you simply needed someone to guide you through a process most people never expect to face.

Now, we're coming to YOU!

We're proud to announce that Showtime Collision is expanding into Big Bear Lake, bringing decades of collision repair experience, craftsmanship, and customer advocacy directly to the heart of the Big Bear Valley.

We've always believed that after an accident, people deserve someone in their corner. They shouldn't be taken advantage of financially. They shouldn’t be left feeling alone, confused, or overwhelmed by the repair process. And they certainly shouldn't have to accept poor-quality repairs that impact their vehicle's value, appearance, or — most importantly — the safety of the people riding inside it.

For nearly 40 years, we've built our reputation on doing things the right way:
Repairing vehicles properly.
Standing behind our work.
Treating customers with honesty and respect.
Fighting for quality, when quality matters most.

We are incredibly grateful to every customer who has trusted us throughout the years. Your support has made this milestone possible, and we're honored to FINALLY bring the Showtime Standard TO the Big Bear community 🙏🥹

🚗 ALTERNATE PARTS USAGE: WHAT IT MEANS FOR YOU

After an accident, many customers expect their vehicle to be repaired with all new, OEM parts.

Unfortunately, that’s not always how insurance works.

Insurance companies are allowed by law to source alternate parts (used/LKQ, aftermarket, reconditioned, etc.) for cost-estimating purposes. This means they can limit what they will pay for parts during your repair.

So what does that mean for you?

It can directly impact the parts used on your vehicle — unless additional steps are taken.

At a customer-focused repair facility, we work hard to avoid the use of alternate parts by:
• Verifying alternate parts are not available or qualified
• Presenting OEM position statements (most manufacturers do NOT approve alternate parts)
• Utilizing dealer price-matching programs when possible

Even with these efforts, you may still be presented with a choice.

Important to know:
It is ultimately up to YOU whether you accept or decline the use of alternate parts.

You may be offered an “OEM upgrade” option, where you can choose to pay the difference for new, OEM parts instead of the alternates your insurance allows.

Also, some insurance policies offer an “OEM endorsement,” which guarantees the use of new OEM parts — but not all policies include this.

Keep in mind:
Different insurance carriers use more or fewer alternate parts depending on their internal policies and practices.

Why this matters:
The parts used in your repair can affect your vehicle’s safety, performance, appearance, and long-term value.

Bottom line:
You have more control than you think — but you need to understand your options.

Take the time to review your policy and ask questions before repairs begin so you can make the best decision for your vehicle.

At Showtime Collision , we do not take what we do lightly.

Every vehicle that enters our facility represents someone’s family, safety, livelihood, and peace of mind. That’s why we remain committed to OEM-approved repair procedures, proper repair standards, and doing the job the right way — never the easy way.

But beyond the repair itself, we believe people deserve compassion, communication, and genuine care throughout the process. An accident is stressful enough; our responsibility is to help carry that burden with professionalism and integrity from start to finish.

For the last FOUR DECADES, we have worked for every customer, every repair, and every opportunity to serve this community with the results and service we’ve become known for.

That commitment has never changed — and it never will.

🚗 UNINSURED MOTORIST PROTECTION: WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW

Not everyone on the road carries insurance… and unfortunately, that can become your problem after an accident.

Uninsured Motorist (UM) coverage is designed to protect YOU if the at-fault driver doesn’t have insurance.

There are typically two ways this coverage may apply:

A. Uninsured Motorist Property Damage (UMPD)
If you do NOT carry collision coverage, this may provide up to a limited amount (commonly around $3,500 in CA) toward your repairs.

As you can imagine… that doesn’t go very far with today’s repair costs.

B. Uninsured Motorist Collision Deductible Waiver
If the other driver is confirmed to be uninsured, your insurance may waive your deductible.

That means you don’t have to pay your deductible to move forward with repairs.

Definitely helpful when needed… but here’s what most people may not realize 👇

This may not eliminate all out-of-pocket costs.

You could still be responsible for:
• Rental costs that exceed your coverage
• Optional OEM upgrades to avoid alternate parts
• Costs related to procedures your insurance may not cover

Important:
Coverage availability, limits, and how it applies can vary by policy and state. Not all situations will qualify, and confirmation that the other party is truly uninsured is required. It is important to speak to a qualified insurance agent or company about the coverages they offer before making an educated decision when choosing/renewing your auto policy.

Bottom line: This coverage can help — but it may have limitations.

Take a few minutes to review your policy so you understand exactly what protection you have before you ever need it.

One thing we’ll never lose sight of in this industry is this:

People deserve someone willing to fight for them when they feel like they’re on their own.

After an accident, even when an insurance company has stepped up to cover a loss, the process can still feel isolating and exhausting. Endless calls. Delays. Confusing information. Feeling pushed around while simply trying to get your life back to normal.

That’s where we step in.

At our collision repair center, we believe our responsibility goes far beyond repairing vehicles. We advocate for OEM-approved repairs, customer safety, and fair treatment — while treating every customer with the compassion and respect they deserve during a stressful time.

We go the extra mile because it’s the right thing to do. Not because it’s easy. Not because every situation is perfect. But because every customer matters.

That commitment is why generations of customers continue to place their trust in our team when they need someone in their corner most.

🚗 RENTAL COVERAGE: WHAT IS IT (AND WHAT TO EXPECT)

Rental coverage is an optional add-on to your auto insurance policy that helps pay for a rental vehicle while your car is being repaired after a covered loss.

How it works:
Your insurance pays UP TO a set dollar amount per day, with a maximum limit per claim — applied toward the cost of your rental.

Example:
$40/day up to $1,200 total

Sounds simple… but here’s what most people don’t realize 👇

You may still have out-of-pocket costs.

Why?
• Rental rates have increased
• Taxes and fees add up
• Many policies haven’t kept up with current rental pricing

If your rental costs more than your daily limit… you pay the difference.
If you hit your policy max before repairs are done… you pay the rest.

Important note (Claimants):
If you’re going through the other party’s insurance (not your own), you’re typically entitled to a rental during repairs in a covered loss.
However, how it’s handled can vary:
• Direct billing through a rental company, OR
• Reimbursement after you pay out-of-pocket

Bottom line: Rental coverage definitely helps — but it may not always cover everything.

Take a minute to review your policy limits now so there are no surprises later.

“Wait… I still owe HOW much on a car I don’t even have anymore?” 😳

Let’s talk about GAP coverage — something most people don’t fully understand until it’s too late.

When your vehicle is declared a total loss after an accident, your insurance company pays out the actual cash value (ACV) — not what you paid and not what you owe.

👉 If your loan balance is higher than that payout, YOU owe the difference.
That’s the “gap.”

There are TWO types of GAP coverage:

🔹 Dealer GAP (Contract)
Purchased at the dealership. This is a separate contract, not insurance, that helps cover the difference after a total loss.

🔹 Insurance GAP (Coverage/Endorsement)
Added to your auto policy. This is true insurance coverage that serves the same purpose.

💡 They work similarly — but are technically different.

🚨 Important: GAP coverage is NOT all the same.
Coverage limits, exclusions, and payout caps can vary, depending on where you get it.

Some plans may:
• Cap how much they’ll pay
• Exclude certain fees or negative equity
• Require specific conditions to be met

👉 Always read the fine print so you know exactly what you’re covered for.

✔️ Why it matters:
If you financed with little down, long terms, or your vehicle depreciates quickly, you could be upside down fast.

Without GAP = potential out-of-pocket debt
With GAP = added financial protection (within your policy/contract limits)

If you’re not sure whether you have GAP (or which type), it’s worth checking before you ever need it.

Because the worst time to learn about coverage… is after the loss.
