Let’s make sure we’re all clear on something.
Each one of these enclosures has extra work done for multiple different reasons, spacers to help with magnet clearance, steel caps on top of the box for magnet clearance, 3D effect work to make room that essentially isn’t there to mount bigger/more subs into the enclosure, each one of these enclosures is a 1 of 1, the next time you’ll see someone post one of these is when one of you fall in love with how one looks and decide it’s something you gotta have. No one else is building underseat boxes like this, if I’m wrong, show me🤷🏻‍♂️
This extra work we put into these enclosures is what makes the set ups we post possible, it’s simple…
1st box
•3 Rockford T1 12”s sealed in the 19+ GMs, you can see how far off the box the 3rd sub on the passenger side is
2nd box
•3 Sparked Innovations SQL-2000 10”s, 9.45” cut out with a 9.2” diameter motor lol…. These subs are huge, a 18-21” adjustable 7” port to tune low, same concept as the 3 12” box mentioned above but not as severe, then the box is effectively moulded around the 7” port, caps also needed on the top.
3rd box
•4 12”s sealed in the 2015+ F150 & 2017+ F250/350/450’s, minor build out onto the radiused corner for the edges of the 1st and 4th sub to have a flat surface to sit on.
4th box
•2 JL W7 12”s to physically fit in an under the seat ford box, spacers and caps incorporated so they physically fit WITHOUT the box sticking out from under the seat.
5th box
•3 B2 Rampage 10”s in a 14-18 GM (these subs are HUGE, if you’re not familiar, look them up, the amount of work needed for these subs to simply physically fit in the box was wild lol
6th box
•2 Sundown SA V3 10”s 8”+ mounting depth, spacers and caps incorporated so they physically fit WITHOUT the box sticking out from under the seat
7th box
My personal, 3d effect and acrylic all over, why? Because I can.
The point is, we build very unique set ups, every single week, not once a year or once every few months, there’s a reason for all these little details that most of you may not catch, and that’s okay. I’m not gonna explain every detail of every box, every post would be a novel most of yall would never read lol. It’s normal for us. If a builder isn’t willing to do the extra work, then it ain’t possible for them to do it🤷🏻‍♂️
I see comments all the time of different builders or individuals claiming:
“Those subs are too tall”
“The magnet is too big”
“There won’t be enough airspace”
“You can’t tune as low as you claim because the port would hit the sub”
And plenty more du***ss comments.
Just because you can’t, or aren’t willing, doesn’t mean everyone else can’t, too. That mindset is toxic. They’re more scared of failing than they are willing to attempt to succeed🤷🏻‍♂️
Do with that information what you will.
Have a great day guys 🔊
