Factory paint is a lie. Active-duty adventure rigs like this brand-new 2025 Mercedes-Benz Thor Motor Coach Sanctuary 19P usually show up to the shop with a ton of hidden battle scars straight from the transit lot—heavy swirls, sanding marks, and dull spots all over those massive panels.
We didn’t just slap a coating over the mess and call it a day. We spent hours dialing it in.
We started with a multi-stage paint correction in some areas, doing some serious deep cutting on the problem areas to level out the deep defects and clarify the clear coat. Once the finish looked like glass, we locked it down with a serious Gyeon setup:
• Infinite Base Type 2 for permanent hardness and chemical resistance.
• Top Coat Type 2 for that slick, hydrophobic water-beading, extra + the final layer of Q2 Ceramic Wax.
Now this thing is ready for the real world. Dirt, mud, and trail grime are going to slide right off on its next off-grid trip.
Real protection is all about the prep work. If you don’t correct it first, you’re just sealing in the flaws.
