Amazing News!

The time has finally come for me to begin my own company teaching manual transmission driving lessons. After contracting for SSDA for over 1 year I fell in love with the idea of upgrading myself from a gig opportunity to an independently owned, and operated, small business.

My core goal is to educate and provide a warm and welcoming atmosphere for anyone interested in acquiring this skill and to open the door to the wonderfulworld that is automotive enthusiasm. At launch, I'm offering just the tip of the iceberg. It is my goal to allow this business to evolve into an "experience" that expands far beyond simply learning to drive a stick. Events are on the horizon!

I have the car, I have the experience, I have the format, I have the marketing and media know-how. What I need now is some financial help up front to make it official and get the machine moving. Very interesting and relevant read! They even interviewed Giuseppe Frustaci, the founder of Stick Shift Driving Academy. I've had the pleasure of speaking with him a few times, helping to provide feedback from an instructor standpoint.

After not driving a stick in over 10 years, Zareen wanted to pick it up again with the intentions of being prepared for international travel and the possibility of driving a rental car with a manual. Aside from that, she wanted to learn just for the fun of it, and what better car to learn in than a Ford Mustang 😎

Logan has an upcoming vacation planned in Europe and wanted to be prepared in case he wants to rent a car while he's there. While automatics can still be found outside of the U.S., manuals are still in greater circulation in other countries, so being prepared for that possibility is a smart move!

Felipe makes frequent visits to Latin America and wanted to learn how to drive a stick in case he needs to rent a car. This is a very common reason students have for taking my lesson! Outside of the United States, manual transmissions are still pretty mainstream, even in new cars.
