There's something about racing in the hogbarn that is almost nostalgic, kind of a throwback to the beginnings of indoor racing. It is just pure 'all out' racing - nothing fancy about the building, little to no heat, but WILD racing.
Let's have some fun - in 10 words or less - let's hear your description of the 'hogbarn racing scene'.
November 22 details are being finalized.

OK - let's bring back concrete racing - exciting news ahead!
Yes Virginia - the first race IS on a Sunday, but we proved in February how quickly a Sunday show can run - with efficiency, competition and loads of fun!
Stay tuned for the details.

Walter James Wilborn Obituary
It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Walter James Wilborn (Columbus, Ohio), who passed away on April 17, 2026, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends can send flowers and/or light a candle as a loving gesture for their loved one. Leave a sympathy message to the family in the guestbook on this memorial page of Walter James Wilborn to show support.

As we bid Walter farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Walter is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 29th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Chapel of Peace - East (5456 E Livingston Ave, Columbus, OH 43232). A burial will be held on Wednesday, April 29th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens (5600 E Broad St, Columbus, OH 43213).

Kart racing sure lost a great friend this week. Walt Wilborn (center) gave 93 years of his life to the sport and helped so many people along the way. His infectious smile and laughter will be missed. Those of us that knew Walt considered it an honor to be around him and listen to him and his stories. R.I.P. Walt Wilborn!
