**Jaguar/Land Rover Owners — This Is Something to Watch For.**

2016 Jaguar XF
3.0L Supercharged

Customer came in with a small coolant leak.

The cause?
A plastic cooling pipe that had become brittle from heat over time.

This is common on certain Jaguar and Land Rover engines.

When these pipes crack, you may notice:

• Coolant smell
• Low coolant warning
• Small puddles under the vehicle
• Engine running hotter than normal

If caught early, it’s a manageable repair.
If ignored, it can lead to overheating and serious engine damage.

In this case, the failing pipe and seals were replaced before it became a major issue.

Customer complaint: Excessive vibration at idle and during acceleration.

Inspection revealed failed left and right hydraulic engine mounts. Both mounts had completely collapsed — allowing drivetrain movement and transferring vibration directly into the chassis.

Engine mounts are critical to:

• Ride comfort
• Drivetrain stability
• Smooth acceleration
• Overall vehicle refinement

On higher-end vehicles like Audi, failed mounts don’t just feel “a little rough.” They change the entire driving experience.
