It’s not a fancy show car fan shroud but we fixed the temperature issue with this First Gen LS swapped Camaro. Customer states see’s temperature constantly @220 and can’t run the AC.

It’s an LS2 with an outdated fan and non connected steam ports. On top of that the incorrect thermostat was installed.
Fast forward to addressing those issues plus adding a Vintage air Monster fan and cold case radiator. Now the engine temp stays at @190 even with the AC on.

We are growing! After 3 years in business we are busting at the seems. We have found ourselves with a back log of work and limited parking on our lot… that says it’s time to grow! We are looking to add one new technician to our team.
We have a few candidates in mind and will report back once we find our next teammate.

Here’s for the Toyota crowd.
A sweet old Landcruiser that is 3.4 engine swapped. Of course it wouldn’t be here here if it didn’t have issues. We seem to be the ones who folks call on with odd projects that not many other shops will take on. Maybe this is why we are a step above the rest. And did I mention we are BUSY! it’s a good spot to be especially when the word in the street is it’s “ slow” out there.

It was great to meet Richard today. This is his beautiful 1965 TBird!

We converted the factory air conditioning to newer Freon and charged it up.

He left with cold ac!

It passed all the functionality checks, hopefully it holds up.

After hours post for an after hours question!

This came up at the shop so I wanted to share it here.

A customer asked, “ what do I do if I break down and you are closed???”

I said we take those as emergency walk in’s. You can send your vehicle on a tow truck and you do not need to come with it. The tow driver can bring the car and leave at our facility any time. That same driver would place the keys in our after hours envelope and fill in your contact information. They would then place that envelope inside our after hours drop box.
We would then look at your car on our next buisness day.
Easy right?!?

Monday morning update!

“Intake port cleaning / Walnut shell blasting”

This is a service that is becoming more frequent in newer vehicles as the engine designs have changed to be more efficient.

Cars with direct injection do not spray fuel into the intake ports. This can lead to carbon build up inside the intake ports and on top of the intake valves. Eventually with enough build up it will start to effect your engine performance and may even trigger the check engine light to come on.

Work work work.
We do our best to keep them on the road.
A few 3.8 liter Jeeps lately fighting to stay registered in California.
Broken exhaust manifolds causing havoc but nothing time and money can’t fix.
On a positive note the 3.8 liter Jeep engine still prooving to be a decent engine although it’s underpowered.
A removed Valve cover shows fairly clean internals. And compared to the condition of outside of the engine this was impressive!
Nasty outside clean inside.
