Diagnosed and repaired a ongoing brake issue that had previous shops at a loss.

Chief Complaint:
Vibration in car, intermittent

Findings:
Warped front rotors, loss of tempering due to extreme heat

Root Cause:
Low quality parts, allowing NO tolerance for front right brake caliper to move/slide freely. Pads, and caliper were recently replaced and pads dragged enough on rotor that would allow enough heat to distort the rotor causing customer complaint.

How does my shop justify such actions?

Possibly due to a lack of certification or licensure? Perhaps they proceed with the recharge in hopes of finding and fixing the leak later.

A proper diagnosis is crucial for an efficient and cost-effective solution, allowing us to pinpoint the problem, make targeted repairs, and reduce wasted resources and time.
