This 1959 Chevy Biscayne has a story that started long before it ever rolled into Full Throttle Customs.

The owner, Canton, grew up in Keyser, West Virginia, where the taillights of a 1959 Impala sitting in town sparked a lifelong dream of owning a ’59 Chevy he could cruise around in.

This Biscayne was part of the Ray Lambrecht auction. Ray was a Nebraska Chevy dealer known for parking used cars in his field instead of selling them cheap, eventually collecting hundreds of cars. This one had been parked since 1963 or 1964 with just 43,000 miles on it.

After the auction, it received a paint job but still wasn’t running. Canton found his Biscayne online, brought it directly to Full Throttle Customs with a simple goal: get it running, driving, and braking so he, his girlfriend, and his friends could pile in and cruise Main Street.

No high-dollar build. Just a classic Chevy back on the road where it belongs.

This week, it made its first drive since parked in that field. Touring around the block and through historic downtown Romney.

This 1970 Mustang came into Full Throttle Customs for a custom shifter setup to give this automatic the look and feel of a 4-speed.

Just days before the appointment, the car developed a significant wiring issue. Our team was able to diagnose the problem, make the necessary repairs, and still complete the shifter work this classic came in for.

This 1972 Jaguar XJ6 came into Full Throttle Customs after being purchased through an online auction — and it needed more than a quick once-over.

On the first drive to the shop, the failing brakes caused a close call at a stop sign. To properly repair the brake system on this Jaguar’s independent rear suspension, the team removed the entire rear cradle, rebuilt the differential, and got the brakes fully corrected.

That oak bed floor completely changed the look of this C10.

Full Throttle Customs recently wrapped up a custom oak bed installation on this Chevy C10, complete with stainless strips and chrome bolts. This one took some extensive adjustments and custom work to get the fit just right, but the finished look speaks for itself.

While it was in the shop, we also performed our top-to-bottom, front-to-back vehicle evaluation service — inspecting the wiring, brakes, interior, engine, and overall condition to help map out what this truck needs next.

We’re looking forward to seeing this C10 out on the street later this summer, and we expect it’ll be back in the shop for the next round of work soon.

John’s 1937 Ford came into Full Throttle Customs after an alternator failure left him stranded.

While it was in the bay, we got it taken care of with a few updates and repairs to help keep it dependable on the road.
