Duties :
-Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately and efficiently.
-Conduct repairs and maintenance on various vehicle systems including engines, transmissions, powertrains, electrical systems, and diesel engines.
-Utilize schematics and technical manuals to troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical problems with precision.
-Service vehicles by replacing parts, performing alignments, wheel balancing, and ensuring proper vehicle maintenance procedures are followed.
-Repair or replace components using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and specialized automotive repair tools.
-Conduct vehicle inspections to ensure safety standards are met and document all repairs thoroughly for accurate auto estimating.
-Collaborate with team members to deliver top-tier automotive service while providing excellent customer service by explaining repairs clearly and professionally.
Experience :
-Proven dealership or service center experience as an automotive technician or mechanic is highly preferred.
-Strong knowledge of automotive electrical systems, powertrains, transmissions, and diesel engine repair.
-Hands-on experience with ADAS calibration, wheel alignments, and vehicle diagnostics using modern scan tools.
-Familiarity with schematics reading, auto estimating software, and troubleshooting complex mechanical issues.
-Demonstrated ability to work efficiently with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other automotive maintenance tools.
-Service technician experience involving GM vehicles or similar brands is advantageous but not required.
