Accell Shorty Spark Plugs

Does anyone have any experience with the Accell shorty spark plugs for the Big Block Chevy engines. I have a 528 that I plan to run them in and am trying to find the heat range I need. So far it looks like the 0416S-4 with a heat range of 6 is my plug but just thought I’d throw it out there for anyone with experience running them to chime in.
Engine Specs:
528 big block Chevy.
4.5 stroke
6.535 rod
4.320 Bore T.D.
-26cc dome
11.21:1 comp

Well guys, the tariffs appear to be working but the backlash kinda sucks. Five years ago I was buying cast Eagle 4.25 Stroke Crankshafts for $200. I priced them today and they are $413.
I don’t know what to do other than pass the cost increase on to the customer. I was selling 496s for $7900 back then and now they are going to eclipse $10 Grand and there is nothing I can do about it. I only use premium parts and I’m not going to change because the s**t stuff is cheaper.

Hey folks,
I just wanted to tell everyone that hasn’t updated their engine compartments and would like too that there will be two bad boys coming down the pipe in about 8 weeks that are going to be killers.

The first one is a used trade in 632 tall deck that has been completely refurbished by yours truly. It is now a freshly bored 634! The block was bored and has new JE flat tops that are a pump gas friendly 10.4:1 compression which is premium pump gas all the way. The 6.700 Eagle rods are freshly sized and the Eagle 4340 forged 4.75 stroke crankshaft has been freshly cleaned, mag’d, tumbled, crack checked and turned. The engine has a new .680 lift Howards Hydraulic Roller, new Gaterman Extreme duty lifters and a new pair of Brodix Rec Port BB3 Xtra heads that have cnc’d chambers and have been gasket matched as well topped with a set of Scorpion Rockers. Currently I have two choices for intakes, a tall deck Super Victor in a dominator fl**ge or a GM performance single plane in a 4150 fl**ge and valve covers of choice!
This engine will have an extremely nice price that I will only share via messenger request.

The second engine will be a 100% new 598 short deck that might be under $15 thousand dollars! I will post it privately to requests for 48 hours before listing to the general public!

Took the day off and went to Mena AR today for a tour of the Brodix plant! I really wanted to take a bunch of photos for y’all but they kinda frown on that down there. I did get to take a pic of a new 18* cylinder head that they have developed for the Rat engines. In this pic they are bolted to an aluminum 632. Now that’s my kind of Rat! I was told that a twin to this engine is tearing it up at Indy this weekend!

There are certain people on the internet that are giving Dyno’s a real bad name and the sheeple aren’t even questioning these dyno results. A real Streetable stock block engine “bbc that is” does not make 800hp. A drag car engine that needs yearly maintenance can! A Streetable engine that’s going on cruise nights in traffic that you aren’t going to crack open yearly to inspect and freshen, that’s not going to overheat in 90* traffic is not going to be a 700hp or above engine. Period! End of story! I’m over it now!
Just tired of telling people the truth all the time and then not selling my engines because people are believing this crap!

Hey guys,
Just want to let you all know that I recently took a 632 in on trade that will be going up for sale in about 3 weeks. It is a gen4 tall deck block with a 2 piece rear main. Right now it is spec’d out to get a pair of new Brodix BB3 Xtras with a .680 hydraulic roller. It will be completely rebuilt, bored, honed, align checked and zero decked as all of my engines are. It will also have a new set of JE/SRP Pistons and rings gapped for light power adders, all new bearings and seals, oil pump, pan, and pickup, and has a steel crank with Eagle H-Beam Rods that will be balanced of course. I have multiple choices for intakes and valve covers as well. Pricing at this time has not been determined but will likely be about $11K ready to go. Hit me up if you are interested in purchasing as it will not last long at or near $11K.
