This month, we're featuring Josh Simonson, who has been part of the MarineMax family for 11 years!
As a Sales Consultant, Josh's favorite part of the job is delivery day. There's nothing better than seeing the excitement and joy on a customer's face when they take ownership of their new or pre-owned boat for the first time.
Josh's passion for boating started early. Growing up in Minnesota, he spent countless hours exploring lakes with his family—memories that helped shape his love for the boating lifestyle. He was drawn to MarineMax because the company's mission of creating meaningful experiences on the water mirrors the memories he cherishes most.
Over the years, Josh has enjoyed the opportunity to operate a wide variety of boats and has built lasting friendships with both customers and coworkers. Those relationships, along with the ever-changing experiences each day brings, have made his time at MarineMax especially rewarding.
When he's not at work, you'll likely find Josh spending time with his wife, three kids, and extended family. Summers are spent out on the water, while winters revolve around hockey rinks. In fact, Josh even builds a backyard ice rink each year—so even when the lakes freeze over, he's still spending time on the water, just in a different form!
