I have a bunch of these oil flow valves for the 1.6L Ecoboost, if anybody happens to need one. I could not even locate the Part Number online, and needed a local dealer to help me source it.

They are located under the valve cover, and just press into the cylinder head. I replace them every time I remove the cylinder head or do a timing belt job. Feel free to reach out if you ever need one!

Fiesta Build v2.5 in progress!

For those of you that have followed along, my original V1 engine build consisted of forged pistons/rods (Diamond/K1), a race-ported head and Piper V3 camshafts with Supertech valves, springs and retainers. Unfortunately, this engine suffered oil starvation due to a small (but very important) oversight. Apparently, brand new blocks from Ford do not come with any of the oil gallies plugged, after machining. There are three total, and we caught the ones on each end of the main journal, but were not aware of the gally coming up from the oil pan. So that lead to a huge lack of oil pressure and failure was imminent. Bummer, but what’s done is done and I’m over it, lol!

That engine came out shortly after, and in went engine build V2 which consisted of forged pistons/rods (Wiseco/ZRP), a CSS closed deck block and then I retained the oem cylinder head from my original Fiesta engine, as there was nothing wrong with it. This is the setup I have been running over the last year or so.

I disassembled engine V1, in hopes of being able to repair the race-ported cylinder head. Shame to let that beauty go to waste, and since it really was only run for a short period of time before we caught the issue, I figured it would be salvageable. So I had the cam journals repaired, and valve/valve seats refreshed, and she’s ready to go! I’m excited to see how much further I can push the little s280, before upgrading to a PSR2867 setup later this year.

I started adding a bunch of Ford AccessPorts to the website. These units will not come with any tuning support….yet, but be on the lookout for new development coming soon!

What platform would you like to see more support for? Focus RS? Ecoboost Mustang? Another manufacturer (Cobb applicable)?

put his Focus ST on the dyno to check the progress of his E-Tune. This car is sporting a Pulsar PSR3071, 2 port aux fuel system and a forged bottom end. Currently running on an E20 ethanol blend and we plan to add spray of methanol in the near future!
