In reality, there’s still a lot of work that happens after your home arrives—from joining the home sections together and completing the interior finish work to installing exterior trim, utilities, porches, and completing inspections before you can receive a Certificate of Occupancy.

✔️ Cleaner, more seamless cabinet construction with fewer batten strips.
✔️ Stronger, more consistent cabinet construction.
✔️ Adjustable shelving for more customizable storage.
✔️ Soft-close hinges are now standard for a quieter, more premium feel.

You’ll also notice Cavco’s new CNC machine in action! While it doesn’t change the cabinet design itself, it allows the factory to cut each cabinet component with incredible precision, improving consistency and overall manufacturing efficiency.

This week, our crew has been hard at work on the interior trim-out of this beautiful Berkshire 28603P!

Once a multi-section home is set, the two halves still need to be professionally joined together. During the trim-out process, our team completes the marriage line, making the home feel like one seamless living space. This stage also includes installing items such as exterior light fixtures and storm doors, adjusting interior doors and trim, completing finish work, and making sure everything is properly aligned and functioning as it should.

Every week brings this Berkshire one step closer to becoming someone’s dream home, and we can’t wait to share more progress along the way! 🏠💛

📍 Another homesite was completed with final seed and straw, giving the property a clean, finished look.

Every project moves at its own pace, but it’s always exciting to see the progress coming together. We can’t wait to share more updates as these homes near completion!
