A burning smell near your brakes is something you don’t want to ignore. It could point to worn brake pads, a sticking caliper, glazed rotors, or another issue that needs attention. If you notice the smell while driving, find a safe place to pull over and check things out. If you can’t identify the cause, have a trusted mechanic inspect your brakes before getting back on the road.
