It’s Teen Driver Safety Week - October 18-24. 🚗 If there’s a new driver in your house, now’s a great time to have the talk about the rules of the road.

🔑 1. Phone down: No texting, scrolling, or calls. Set it to Do Not Disturb before you shift out of park.
🔑 2. Buckle up every trip. That means everyone in the car, front seat and back.
🔑 3. Obey the speed limit. Getting there 2 minutes faster isn’t worth it.
🔑 4. Limit passengers. More friends in the car means more distractions.
🔑 5. Drive sober, always. No alcohol, no drugs, no exceptions.

From 10 am - 1 pm we will have our friends Humane Rescue Alliance in our showroom, with lots of beautiful pets looking for their fur-ever home! This is just a sneak peek - there will be more BFFs to meet. Some of these animals have been flown in from hurricane-affected states and are looking for their safe haven and new home. We can’t wait to see you there! 🥰

Connor is part of our sales team in Frederick, MD and has been part of the Fitz family for 3 years, including time at our Subaru store in Gaithersburg.

"I've been obsessed with cars and music as long as I can remember, so I love getting to be around cars and help people find a vehicle that makes them happy."

His favorite memories? The cookouts at the Frederick FitzMall. "Everyone's in a good mood, I can hand my guests a fresh burger or dog, and it feels like a family barbecue. I'm proud to work here, be part of the ESOP, and represent the Fitz family." 💥

Together we're celebrating the loyal and loving furry friends who make every day better. Here's how you can join in:

🏡 Adopt, don't shop: Thinking about adding a pup to the family? Local shelters and rescues are full of amazing dogs ready for their forever homes. Here at Fitzgerald Auto Malls we regularly host adoption events - our upcoming dates are October 10th and 17th at Fitzgerald Subaru Gaithersburg and Fitzgerald Subaru Rockville, respectively!

🩺 Show some TLC: Book that vet checkup, update their ID tags, or give your pup a spa day!

🎾 Make a donation: Drop off food, toys, blankets, or treats at a nearby shelter, or give a few hours as a volunteer.

🎖️ Thank a working dog: From service and therapy dogs to K9 officers and search-and-rescue heroes, these pups give so much. Give them a shoutout in the comments!
