Thank you to everyone that has supported us in our "Need to Feed".

Our goal is to feed 150 to 200 people personally. We will prepare, cook and serve our community. 'We will be handing out plates to anyone in need.

We are still in need of your support in donations. Food and any toiletries would greatly be appreciated. If you are not able to drop off at this location, please contact us and we can arrange for pick up.

Thank you for bringing up such an important point. We recognize that many in our community are facing unprecedented challenges right now. Our focus with this specific effort is on our unsheltered neighbors who often fall outside of traditional support systems. We believe in a multi-faceted approach to community care, and we are so grateful for everyone who is helping in any way they can. Whether it's through this drive, supporting local food shelves, or simply checking in on a neighbor. It all matters.

Safelight Auto Sales presents “Need to Feed” — we’re serving warm Thanksgiving meals to people experiencing homelessness on Thanksgiving Day, Nov. 27. We’re asking the community for donations of food, cash, grocery gift cards, utensils, napkins, and disposable containers. Drop donations at Safelight, 6001 Lone Oak Rd, Rockford, MN 55373 on Fridays, 10 AM–2 PM. Can’t make it? Donate via CashApp $Safelight (note: Need to Feed). Please share — together we can make sure more people have a warm meal and feel cared for this holiday. ❤️

Here is our wish list.

Priority items

Ready-to-serve hot meal items (prepared trays or boxed meals)

Non-perishable sides (boxed stuffing, canned veggies)

Disposable meal containers with lids (microwave-safe if possible)

Disposable forks/spoons/knives, napkins

Grocery gift cards (local supermarkets)

Safelight Auto Sales Presents "Need to Feed"

We will be feeding the homeless on Thanksgiving November 27

Our mission is to provide meals and spread love to those in need.

There are a lot of people that will not have a warm meal or a place to eat. Some no longer have families that they can go to, so we are bringing it to the streets.

We are looking for help from the community with donations in the form of food, cash, gift cards for the grocery store, utensils, napkins, and disposable containers.

Donations can be dropped of to Safelight 6001 Lone Oak Rd, Rockford MN, 55373 on Fridays from 10am-2pm.
