For our friends and neighbors in the Lesslie community

This week we had a sick raccoon come into our store during broad daylight. DNR came out and said appeared to have distemper and they took care of it.
Today another sick raccoon came up to Lesslie Food Mart—snarling and aggressive. DNR came out and took care of it.

Just want to give everyone a heads up to be careful and keep an eye out for your animals and kids.

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Autry, our famous store greeter and champion ball player.

Autry died 3/14/25 from complications of Lymphoma.

He left for greener pastures and hopefully opportunities playing professionall ball while surrounded by his family and the caring staff at Carolina Place Animal Hospital in Richburg

Born on 1/24/16, his life was short but filled with love and excitement
Autry loved QT ice cream cones, Porter House Steak, and playing ball If he wasn’t eating, he had a ball in his mouth and was ready to play

Autry leaves behind his parents, Bob and Anne and his wife of 3 1/2 years, Dolly the Doodle.
