Every day, we risk our lives helping stranded motorists on South Carolina's highways and interstates. Roadside workers, tow truck operators, law enforcement, and first responders all have families waiting for them at home.

DRIVERS, WE NEED YOUR HELP! When you see flashing lights ahead, pay attention, get off your phone, slow down, and MOVE OVER when it's safe! Don't wait until you're right on top of us to change lanes!

SHARE THIS POST! Remind your friends and family that a few seconds of paying attention could mean the difference between someone going home or never seeing their family again.

Respect the lights. Protect the lives.

Riggs Roadside Assistance
We are your personal pit crew.

15 YEARS. ONE COMMUNITY. COUNTLESS MILES.

Riggs Roadside was built one call, one customer, and one challenge at a time. Through every setback, we kept showing up—and our community kept supporting us.

Thank you for 15 incredible years. We’re proud to still be here serving the people who helped build us.

Last week was another busy one at Riggs Roadside. Monday through Friday brought challenges, rewards, some great new customers, and a few people who just needed a little extra time and support understanding what was going on with their vehicle.

That is part of what we do. We do not just show up, do the job and leave. We take the time to explain things, answer questions and help people feel comfortable with what needs to be done.

We are proud to serve York County and the surrounding areas, and I appreciate every customer who calls us, recommends us and supports what we have built.

When you have a choice, support small American-owned businesses. Your support helps local families and keeps money in the community.

Some moments on the side of the highway remind me why I do what I do.

This picture of me standing beside a state trooper represents something important to me — respect.

At Riggs Roadside, we have a lot of respect for law enforcement, firefighters, EMS, and first responders. We work on the same roads, face many of the same roadside dangers, and ultimately have the same goal:

Help people and get them home safely.

When a trooper helps protect a scene while I’m working, I don’t take that for granted.

So when you see flashing lights ahead, please slow down, pay attention, and move over when it’s safe.

There’s a real person standing on that shoulder trying to do their job and make it home too.
