A gentleman driving a 2025 Ram ProMaster van found himself in a bit of a jam while delivering paint and construction supplies for Sherwin Williams. His vehicle got stuck in some soft earth and gravel, making it impossible for him to back out up the driveway. After checking out our reviews and photos on Facebook and Google, he decided to call Riggs Roadside, confident that we were the right team for the job. When we arrived, we quickly hooked up to the van and effortlessly pulled it up the hill without a hitch or any damage. Once he was back on solid ground, he was able to drive away without any issues. On Saturday, I received a call from a lovely elderly lady who needed a battery replacement for her 2015 Mitsubishi Outlander. When I arrived at her location, she shared her concerns about a new battery another company had installed just weeks earlier—she couldn’t understand why it had already died. I checked her alternator, and it was working perfectly. Upon inspecting the battery, it was evident it was a used and recycled one installed by that other company. The customer even showed me her receipt, revealing she was charged $175 for a new battery and a $60 installation fee. After assessing the situation, I got her and her husband a brand-new Duracell AGM battery, complete with a 4-year warranty! I had them powered up and ready to hit the road in time for their hour-long trip to visit their son and family. It's always fulfilling to do the right thing. Remember, we're your personal pit crew!

This morning, we got a battery replacement request from The Atrium Health Clinic in Charlotte for their 2023 Toyota Camry. Upon inspection, we found it still had the original battery! We swapped it out for a Duracell Ultra AGM with a 4-year warranty. They were thrilled to have their car back on the road! Yesterday, I had the pleasure of receiving a service request from a delightful young lady in blackstock, South Carolina. She had been visiting a friend and was on her way back when things took an unexpected turn. As she was backing out of the gravel driveway onto the dirt road in her trusty Hyundai Sonata, she inadvertently found herself in a bit of a pickle.

🚜💨 Just the other day, we had an interesting call from a young man who found himself in a bit of a pickle. While on the job hauling a load in his 2020 International tractor, he unexpectedly ran out of diesel fuel. Talk about a setback! As he sat stranded, he picked up the phone and reached out to us, seeking assistance.

I’m happy to say that we were ready to jump into action! When he asked if we could deliver some diesel to get him back on his way, we enthusiastically replied, “Absolutely!” We know how vital it is for our hardworking customers to stay on the move without unnecessary delays.

Within just 35 minutes, our dedicated team arrived on the scene, diesel in hand and a friendly smile ready to help. We quickly refueled his tractor, ensuring he could continue his important work without any further interruptions.

The look of relief on his face was priceless, and he couldn’t stop expressing his gratitude. Knowing that we played a part in getting him back on the road brought us immense joy! 📞 We received a call from a young man at Winthrop University who thought he needed a jump start. After trying to fix it himself without success, he asked us to check out his vehicle. He mentioned his battery was over 5 years old and was in dire need of a replacement. When we arrived, we tested the battery and confirmed he definitely needed a new one!

To make matters more interesting, our inspection revealed that a staff member from Advance Auto Parts had installed the DieHard battery but had tightened the negative terminal connector too much, causing it to stress fracture and snap into two pieces. 😳

We quickly installed a new Duracell battery with a 2-year warranty, getting the young man back on the road and running smoothly again. I took a moment to explain the importance of replacing the broken negative terminal connector.

📞✨ Exciting news from the service bay! We recently received a call from a dedicated teacher over at Rock Hill High School, who found himself in a bit of a bind with his trusty 2017 Dodge Journey. 🚙✏️ He needed a battery replacement, but as it turns out, this wasn’t going to be a straightforward job.

Our friend from Rock Hill informed us that the battery’s placement made the replacement quite a challenge. You see, in some vehicles, the battery location is not as accessible as one might hope. 🛠️ To tackle this task, we had to roll up our sleeves and get a little creative! First, we carefully removed the front driver's side tire – yes, that’s right, the tire! 🛞 Then, we needed to take off the plastic liner around the wheel well, which protects the battery compartment but also added to the complexity of the job.

Now, let me tell you, it took a bit more time than usual due to the battery being tucked away in such an unusual position. ⏳ But we pride ourselves on our thoroughness and dedication to ensuring every job is done right. After a bit of maneuvering and some expert hands on deck, we finally replaced the old battery with a brand-new one, ensuring our teacher's car was back up and running smoothly. 🚗💨
