This customers insurance company told them that a dealer down the road would fix it cheaper and refused to pay the full cost for proper repairs. They knew that that meant cut corners and knock off parts so they trusted RCC and paid the difference to have it repaired correctly. They will now be looking for a different insurance company.

The insurance company told the customer that they wouldn’t pay for the proper repairs to their vehicle. The customer said “I would like to invoke the right to appraisal clause in my policy”. The insurance company then decided they would pay for the proper repairs! They are never going to offer you proper reimbursement unless you stand up for yourself. We will help you through that process.

- This savings typically comes from the use of knock off or salvaged parts, lesser quality materials, cutting corners of repairs and discounted labor rates, none of which benefit the vehicle owner.

A large tree branch caused significant damage to this Crosstrek. The insurance company would have preferred that we "repaired" the windshield pillar by covering the compromised metal with filler. Many shops would have taken this approach to appease the insurance company. However, we adhere to a higher standard. We removed the damaged metal and replaced it with new components. Although this process was more time-consuming and expensive, it is the correct methodology. Additionally, we take issue with the common practice of cutting corners on the full refinishing of the uniside by using a clear blender to reduce costs for the insurance company. While we may not be the most affordable option, we prioritize delivering exceptional workmanship.
