💙 Employee Spotlight: Meet Service Advisor, Phil Reifsteck! Phil joined our team in February of 2020, bringing over 30 years of experience in the automotive industry. While Phil has spent decades in the business, he shares that his six years with Van Bortel have been the best! (Thanks Phil! 🥰) Phil has found his niche working in our Express lane, where his calmness, professionalism, and positive attitude resonate with both customers and our team. He exemplifies our core values every day, keeping kindness and integrity at every interaction. In that time, Shawn has consistently earned numerous accolades as a leader in both volume sales and customer satisfaction on a national level. That’s because Shawn truly embodies the Subaru Love Promise and is committed to providing extraordinary care every day of the year. In addition to helping customers, Shawn has played an integral role in mentoring and training new members of our sales team. Outside of work, he’s a dedicated family man who enjoys spending time with his wife, their children, and five grandchildren. Thank you, Shawn, for everything you do! 😊👏

He began his journey with us in Victor where he quickly demonstrated his desire and ability to create exceptional customer experiences. In December of 2018, he was part of the team who opened the showroom to customers at Van Bortel Subaru of Rochester, where he stayed, elevating the dealership experience for retail and fleet customers. This month, we welcomed Ian back to Victor where he is excited to bring his experience and passion for the Subaru brand. His customer service is exemplary along with his dedication to our core values. Outside of work, you’ll likely find Ian spending time with his family or enjoying gardening around the house.🏡Thank you, Ian, for everything you do! 😊👏

Shoutout to our friend and customer, Chris, for sharing a few incredible photos from a recent road trip. 🚙⛰️ Chris and his wife took their 2024 Outback Touring on an adventure through the Smoky Mountains, spotting wildlife in Cades Cove, exploring the rugged Parsons Branch Road, and even driving on the legendary Tail of the Dragon! The Tail of the Dragon (US-129) is a marvel with 318 turns through the mountain pass on 11 miles of road! The journey wrapped up with breathtaking views along the Foothills Parkway heading back to Gatlinburg. Thank you Chris for sharing your adventure with us and for being part of the Van Bortel Subaru family! 💙
