We couldn’t be prouder to be part of this awesome event!

We’ve all heard the phrase, “every picture tells a story”. This shot, captured by Tommy Gun Images, speaks volumes and evokes profound emotions for what it represents. You see, this wheelchair is normally occupied by a Make-A-Wish kid. It was left on the dock, empty, because that child participated in the boat rides given on Friday. We hope that child, and all the others that joined us, can forget about whatever ails them and just enjoy the ride, if only for a few minutes.

At times, we don’t realize the significance of our event. We just do what we do because we’re dedicated to raising funds for worthy causes and we have a little fun while doing so. This picture is so telling and is a reminder of why we do it. It’s bigger than we ever could’ve imagined. Thank you, Tom, for capturing and sharing that image. It certainly does “tell a story”. 💙

What a great feeling going home on a Friday night after a very productive week. While all of us use the weekend to take a breath, the investments made in automation are hard at work. At Five Star, we are growing through the use of automation.

Once again we are expanding our manufacturing capacity! Last week a new Tsugami Swiss B0326-III machine was delivered and install is almost complete. Long part rear ejection adds capabilities for our customers.

It is not often that a company can celebrate a 50 year employee. Last week we did just that!! Theo Collier has been with Five Star Tool Company since 8/28/72. His dedication, loyalty, and work ethic are unwavering. Our Company’s success is the direct result of devoted employees such as Theo. We invited the former owners to celebrate with us. Pictured below is: Ken Lalonde (President), Gert Falkner (former owner), Theo Collier, Steve Pociask (former owner), and Renee Lalonde (VP Business & Administration).

It’s been roughly 20 months since we embarked on our building expansion project. Today, two new Tsugami lathe machines will be installed and many other existing machines will be relocated from our very cramped space into the new. It’s been a long haul but we’re excited to start enjoying the expanded capacity and capabilities with the new space and all the new equipment we purchased over the last year.

Check out the new space which soon will be filled with machines ready to produce parts and tools for aerospace, fi****ms, automotive, and medical industries to name a few!

Five Star Tool has been very busy in the last couple of weeks. Another Wire EDM (Electrical Discharge Machine) was delivered and is up and running making parts. Our capacity continues to grow.
