💥🌟🔥
1987 PORSCHE 911 Turbo Carrera aka (930T). The Porsche 930 (the factory code used for the 911 Turbo from 1975 to 1989) is an iconic supercar. Famous for its flared "whale tail" spoiler, "shark fin" rock guards, and explosive rear-engine power delivery, it is a raw, analog driver's car that commands respect. Performance was staggering for its era. The 3.3L model launches from 0 to 60 mph in roughly 4.9 seconds and achieves a top speed of 162 mph.❤️

Unlike the rear-engine Porsche 911, the Porsche 718 Boxster places its engine directly behind the seats and ahead of the rear axle. That gives it extremely balanced handling and is one reason many enthusiasts say it feels more agile than a 911 on twisty roads. "Boxster" the name combines 2 words: “boxer” (for Porsche’s flat horizontally opposed engine layout) and “roadster” (a lightweight convertible sports car)The “718” in Porsche 718 Boxster isn’t just a number—it’s a nod to Porsche’s lightweight 718 race cars from the late 1950s and early 1960s🤍

1969 Pontiac Grand Prix with 428 HO - 4 Speed, "Positraction" (General Motors' trademarked name for a limited-slip differential). will shred those poor bias ply rear tires as it launches you through the standing 1/4 mile in 14 seconds! This muscle car is considered a "holy grail" for Pontiac enthusiasts, often described as a, "unicorn" due to the rare combination of luxury, heavy weight, and a 4-speed manual. 🖤

The 1981 Porsche 928 is one of the more unique cars that was ever built by Porsche. It was designed to replace the 911 as a more modern Grand Touring car with a front mounted V8 and around 230 horsepower. A well kept 928 today is becoming increasingly collectible because Porsche built far fewer of them than the 911s. Porsche never published fully definitive production numbers for every early 928 variant, but it is estimated that about 3,700 of the 928 was produced for the 1981 model year.

The pop up headlights are famous because they rise at a unique angle instead of straight up and have become one of the car's signature design features. Also interesting, our customer's 928 featured a standard manual 5-speed dogleg gear pattern. It was called this because first gear sits off to the side and second and third gear have a more simple straight path up and down to make shifting gears easier, one of the coolest vintage characteristics of this car.

Recently, we had a fascinating piece of early automotive history right here at Classic Appreciation. This "little" gem has been in one of our local customer's family for as long as he can remember. It is hard not to love a car that has been part of one family’s story for over a century. From a father driving his son around Rochester, Michigan, to still being cared for today, this Little Roadster is exactly the kind of automotive history we feel lucky to be around.

Produced in Flint Michigan, this car was one of the earliest production vehicles. The Little Motor Car Company was founded primarily by William Durant and William Little, and only existed for a very short time from roughly 1911 to 1913. The Little Four used a 20-horsepower four-cylinder engine. It had a 90-inch wheelbase and mechanical brakes on two wheels. Open and sporty, the Roadster was a little more refined than one of its competitors, Ford's model T. The "Little Four" leaned more toward styling and comfort. Later, the Little Motor Car Company was an essential building block in the formation of Chevrolet Motor Company when there was a merger with the two companies. The Little Four was right hand drive, and 3,500 were produced. Very few 1913 Little Four Roadsters still exist today!

If detailing cars was not his passion, maybe Greg's calling could possibly be a flower farmer. These Daffodils and Tulips were fresh picked from his home. With spring flowers in bloom and all around us right now, don't forget that Mother's Day is May 10th, just around the corner.
