Lesmeister Fleet Service Inc. is located in Rochester MN, on the south side of town. We primarily work on heavy duty trucks and trailers. We do mechanical repairs as well as welding repairs, so welding knowledge is a plus.

This is a full time position which would require you to work Monday-Friday, day-time hours. 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM.

$37,400- $83,200 (plus overtime) per year; which will be dependent on your skill-set and experience.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

-Determines vehicle condition by conducting inspections and diagnostic tests; identifying worn and damaged parts.

-Keeps equipment available for use by completing preventive maintenance schedules; installing component and part upgrades; controlling corrosion; completing winterization procedures.

-Corrects vehicle deficiencies by removing, repairing, adjusting, overhauling, assembling, disassembling, and replacing major assemblies, sub-assemblies, components, parts, or systems, such as, power and drive trains, electrical, air conditioning, fuel, emission, brake, steering, hydraulics.

We are looking for an individual to take care of general parts inventory and data entry for our heavy duty truck shop. General knowledge of semi trucks and trailers is very helpful. Must have a valid drivers license to pick up parts or shuttle customers. Must be able to lift 50+ lbs if necessary.
