Refrigerant Recovery: An Important Step in Collision Repair! β„οΈπŸ”§

Before certain repairs can begin, the vehicle's A/C system needs to be properly serviced.

Here at G&J Body Shop, we're using specialized equipment to recover refrigerant from the A/C system before components are disconnected or removed. πŸš—

This process safely collects the refrigerant instead of releasing it into the atmosphere, allowing our technicians to move forward with the repair.

It's one of those steps you might not think about when bringing your vehicle to a body shop, but it's an important part of doing the job correctly.

A little behind the scenes look at the collision repair process here in Rochester! πŸ’ͺ

Why Is Color Matching So Important in Auto Body Repair? πŸŽ¨πŸš—

Getting the paint color right takes more than simply looking up a factory paint code!

Here at G&J Body Shop, Nate and Dan are working together to make sure the new paint matches the vehicle's existing finish as closely as possible. πŸ”

Even vehicles with the same factory paint code can have slight color differences due to paint variations, age and sun exposure.

That's why checking the color before painting is such an important step. The goal is to make the repaired area blend naturally with the rest of the vehicle, so you can't easily tell where the repair was made.

It's these little details that make a big difference in quality collision repair! πŸ’ͺ
