24hr dispatch number 540-525-2650. We serve Roanoke, Salem, Boonesmill ,Bedford and surrounding areas with storage lots in each. This is a long read with good information.

Let's talk about accidents and insurance coverages, what is and isn't covered. Specifically how we handle things after we are called to a collision or recovery.

1. When a person has an at fault claim with liability, insurance will say we don't cover tow charges. That is incorrect. They do, they just need to be reminded under what circumstances they are required to pay...We do that for you. This takes time, we don't charge storage during this time and the bill is covered by the amount insurance pays.Nothing more

After that we discuss the vehicle we either purchase for scrap, deliver to you or your preferred shop at no charge, or repair at one of our locations( which you pay for repairs but no towing)

2 Sometimes there are extended time for court investigations and things of that nature, we are not going to stick you with a huge storage bill if you are deemed responsible. We stick to what insurance pays us.
3. If you have liability only and were hit by someone without insurance or under insured. We help navigate this with you so that your car and all costs are paid for. Unfortunately we do this fairly often.
4. The easiest is dealing with full coverage(first party coverage) because insurance has an interest in either case and will advocate for their insured. This is not the case with some other policies, so we advocate for you

We constantly get questions about these types of things, or calls after the fact. Accident Recovery is a primary service we provide for multiple police departments, companies and individuals. All operators are trained by multiple nationally recognized courses. You can choose your own tow company when involved in an accident but you must notify law enforcement that you have called or have them call on your behalf.

We are happy to help and answer any questions you may have. If you made it to the end thanks for reading. Please like and share. If you have experienced our help In a similar situation we would love to see a comment. Thanks everyone and drive safe.
