Just a quick FYI- we have less than 10 appointment slots available before Christmas, so if you're thinking of a gift for your loved one, or yourself, act quickly! I suspect by end of business Tuesday we will be booking for 2026!

Keep an eye out for Black Friday specials next week, keeping in mind install time for those deals will likely be January.

Hello everyone!

Summer is winding to a close, and what a summer it has been!

If you've been by the new shop, you've noticed we are covered up with vehicles, but we are happy to get your project in and out with the upgrades you're looking for!

Our friends over at Audiotronics are stepping away from the automotive and marine space so they can fully focus on their stellar in-home business for audio/home theater, integration, automation, and more, so they've left the auto and marine lines to us. If you've had gear installed by Audiotronics that's still under warranty, we are covering that warranty through the full duration of parts warranty, and we're covering their installation/workmanship until 08/01/2026. Just give us a call if you've got any questions or concerns, and we will get you scheduled and handle the rest. You'll still get that Audiotronics level of service here at Star City 12Volt to make the transition seamless.

Going forward, starting 09/15/25, we will no longer be installing customer provided audio gear*, cameras/camera systems, radios, remote start, or security systems. Other equipment like lighting or towing electronics will be considered on a case-by-case basis. *High end audio gear will be considered on a case-by-case basis. We will still continue to offer diagnosis if you have issues with your system or vehicle, and we are happy to re-install used (working) equipment that you previously purchased from us.

This policy has been something we have considered for a long time now, and we are just no longer able to spend time installing poor equipment that disappoints you and does not work well with your vehicle. We want to offer a solution that works well, fits your wants/needs and budget, and lasts the lifetime of your vehicle, and we cannot do that with cheaply manufactured parts. As mentioned above, if you have high end equipment we are absolutely happy to discuss that on a case-by-case basis. Enacting this policy will reduce our wait time for appointments and get vehicles in and out of the shop quicker, and ensure that the warranty process if needed is smooth and painless, since we will handle all warranty diagnostic, shipping, etc in house.

If you're already on the schedule for us to install your gear, don't worry, you're safe and we're happy to fulfil.

Remote Start and holiday season is just around the corner and we are excited to help get cars warm and fill boxes under the tree!

Happy June! 2025 is absolutely flying by, we have been so busy! Well over 400 vehicles so far this year.

Just a quick note that we will be CLOSED Thursday June 5th and Friday the 6th while everyone from the shop attends Knowledgefest.
