🐾 Happy National Dog Day from Western Skies RV & Equine Park!

Road trips are better with a four-legged copilot, aren’t they? Whether they’re riding shotgun in the RV, sniffing every new patch of Wyoming grass, or supervising camp from the shade, dogs have a way of turning any trip into an adventure. 🐶🚐

Today we’re celebrating the pups who make the miles more fun and the stops a little more memorable.

For World Photography Day on August 19, we’re celebrating all the moments that make Wyoming so photogenic—from golden-hour landscapes and enormous skies to wildlife, horses, sunsets, and those little scenes you weren’t expecting to remember. 🌄🐴

💙 Some of the best things in a community happen because people are willing to roll up their sleeves and help.

For National Nonprofit Day, we want to give a big Western Skies shoutout to the organizations and volunteers who make Fremont County such a special place to call home and to visit.

From PAWS for Life (where this handsome pup came from) caring for animals in need to our local 4-H chapters helping young people learn, grow, and discover what they’re capable of, to Friends of the Fremont County Fair supporting one of our favorite community traditions , there are so many people doing good work behind the scenes.

And those are just a few!

To all of our local nonprofits, volunteers, donors, and supporters: thank you for the time, heart, and energy you pour into our community. ❤️

😂 It’s National Tell a Joke Day, and we figured our resident donkey was the perfect one to help celebrate.

It's National Relaxation Day, and it feels like a pretty good excuse to slow things down.

At Western Skies RV & Equine Park, that might mean settling into a rocking chair on the cabin porch, watching the Wyoming landscape stretch out in front of you, and realizing there’s absolutely nowhere you need to be for a while. ☀️🪑

No rushing from one attraction to the next. No packed schedule. No alarm telling you it’s time to move on.

Just fresh air, open space, a comfortable chair, and a little time to enjoy doing…well, not much of anything.

This August 15, we’re officially giving you permission to put relaxing at the top of the itinerary! 😌

🌠 Tonight’s entertainment is courtesy of the Wyoming sky.

The Perseid Meteor Shower is putting on its annual show tonight, and Western Skies RV & Equine Park is a pretty great place to enjoy it.

With wide-open views, plenty of room, and those big Wyoming skies stretching overhead, all you really need is a chair, a blanket, and a reason to stay up a little later than usual. ✨🌌

Whether you’re staying with us in your RV, traveling with your horses, or simply enjoying a quiet evening at the park, don’t forget to look up tonight.

Because sometimes the best part of the trip isn’t on the itinerary; it’s the view above you. 💫
