Meet the newest little face joining Western Skies RV park. He’s staying with our friend Molly while he’s bottle-fed, and we’re already smitten.

The campground starts to slow down this time of year. Summer can feel like a bit of a blur with campers coming and going, rodeos, horses, irrigation, and chores.

Then fall is a little quieter and we start getting around to some of those things that have been waiting their turn like the horse dentist. 🦷

That is one of the cool things around here, it isn’t just built to look country, we are doing the things. When you stay your staying by the horse pasture, you might see hay getting unloaded, or vet visits, or well, who knows, because sometimes we don’t know 🤷‍♀️

The busy season may be winding down but we still have plenty to do!

☕ Some coffee shops have drive-thru windows. Ours has rocking chairs, a Wyoming sunrise, and plenty of peace and quiet.

The front porch of the Copper Cabin might just be the perfect place to begin your day. Pour something hot, settle into a rocking chair, and watch the morning light stretch across the park while the rest of the world feels wonderfully far away.

No traffic. No rushing. Just fresh air, a warm mug in your hands, and a few quiet moments to decide what the day will bring.

Family has always been at the heart of Western Skies RV & Equine Park. ❤️

For us, creating the park was about more than building a business. It was about building a future for our daughter and creating something our family could grow with, be proud of, and share with others.

That same purpose continues every time a family pulls in for a stay. Western Skies is a place where parents can slow down, kids can explore, and everyone can step away from busy schedules to rest, reconnect, and make memories together. 🏕️🐴

On National Family Day, we’re grateful for the family who inspired this dream and for every family who has made our little piece of Wyoming part of their story.

People travel thousands of miles to see Wyoming. We get to welcome them here. 🌄

They come for the geysers and wildlife of Yellowstone, the unforgettable peaks of the Tetons, the wide-open beauty of the Shoshone National Forest, the Breccia Cliffs on Togwotee Pass, Sinks Canyon, Boysen, and the chance to spot elk, bison, deer, and other wildlife along the way. 🦬🦌

Some arrive with carefully planned itineraries. Others simply point the RV west and see where the road takes them. Either way, we’re grateful when that road leads to Western Skies RV & Equine Park.

On World Tourism Day, we’re celebrating the travelers who explore our beautiful state and allow us to be a small part of their Wyoming story. From a friendly welcome to a peaceful place to rest between adventures, it’s our privilege to host you.

🍂 Fall has officially found its way to Wyoming!

The mornings are getting crisper, the leaves are trading green for gold, and the campfire feels a little better once the sun slips behind the horizon. It’s the season for warm drinks, cozy evenings, quiet rides, and taking the long way just to enjoy the scenery. 🔥🐴

Whether you’re traveling with an RV, bringing your horses along, or simply looking for a peaceful place to slow down, autumn is a beautiful time to visit our neck of the woods.
