"Ceramic tint is dark outside and light inside."

Not true. It is the exact same "darkness" from both angles. However, a high-quality film, typically ceramic (unless you have a great manufacturer like STEK than it is all film), has amazing CLARITY and Glare Reduction. This makes it easier to see out of giving some the perception of "lighter" from the inside.
Cameras and your eyes also do an excellent job of adjusting to the lighting conditions. It is darker inside the vehicle, so looking out to the bright exterior is easier than seeing in.

One of these vehicles has ceramic tint, and the other 2 are carbon. Can you tell the difference?
