Hello, everyone. Les here, from Classic Auto Restorations. I was forced to make a difficult decision the other day. I have been selling Bricklin Parts on Ebay for over 20 years and every year they take a bigger bite, and tie your hands by not letting me properly take care of customers before purchase because we cannot exchange phone numbers. In a way I get it, with some out there trying to make side deals. For me, that was not the case, I was trying to serve the Bricklin owner. I have been working with it for a while now, but in the last year I have had a few issues which left me on the short end. I have repeatedly tried contacting Ebay to work the issues out, but it is impossible to talk with them to repair anything. When you go into the help center you just get form letters that slant in their favor with no solution or conversation. I did finally find a number to call the other day to fix a problem that was going to cost me over $800.00 and all I got was an Artificial Intelligence Operator that was also loaded with generic answers and found myself just not having any fun at all. The final straw for me was now when I make a sale, for example a carpet kit, in the listing it clearly says allow 2 weeks, because, although we stock all of the yardage, we make the kits to order because some people want single flaps, some want dual flaps, some want the darker brown, some want the brown closest to stock and some want a different color all together. That way everything is fresh. So now their new policy is they put a hold on your funds untill 3 days after the customer notifies Ebay and says they got it; which you know a lot of people have very busy lives and will simply forget to notify Ebay, and the guy just trying to make a living is basically loaning money to Ebay interest free. A very smart, but crooked move on their part. I could see them putting a hold on funds if you had a history of not sending people their product in a timely manner, but for Classic Auto Restorations that was never an issue. One of the other issues that I have not liked for a few years is that Ebay, when calculating final value fees, uses the entire amount of the ticket, including tax and shipping. What that means is that for years we have been paying for some of your sales tax and some of your shipping. This is just a few reasons I have made the decision not to sell on Ebay. With some of my listings, by the time they got done, Ebay made more on the sale then Classic Auto Restorations. We have a very full line of quality products for the Bricklin SV1 and make quite a few parts for them as well. So here is my plan from now on, if you should want anything from Les at Classic Auto Restorations You can reach me on the phone Monday thru Friday 10:00am to 4:00pm at (951) 317-7643. You are also welcome to text that number 7 days a week, but I will contact you the next business day. Just let me know in the text if you prefer a call or text back, because I know some of you are a bit shy talking on the phone. I on the other hand am a Chatty Kathy. Saturdays if you call it is spotty on whether I pick up. I might be having fun doing something. Sunday is my day with the family, sorry no calls. You are also welcome to contact me by email at [email protected], which you are welcome to email 7 days a week, but again I will get back the next business day. Just send me a numbered list of what you want, I will generate an estimate and send it back for approval, then I will Paypal you an invoice to be paid through Paypal or Zelle. While I am bending your ear here, I talk to people all over the world that may be experiencing issues working on the Bricklin, and my phone is always open to help and I have never charged even a dime for that, whether you are buying from me or not. I am not claiming to know everything, but I do have a very good understanding on the Bricklin SV1. I am aware there are a couple more great sources out there for parts and you need to deal with who you feel you can work with best. I have no issues with that; we all get along. Just a little bit about me, I have been actively restoring, servicing and selling parts for the Bricklin SV1 for 35 years or better and still enjoy them. We are not throwing in the towel by any means, just Boycotting Ebay.
Thanks, Les Randolph. Owner, Classic Auto Restorations
Thank you for understanding.

Les here from Classic Auto Restorations. Funny story. My brother in-law came out for a visit and was a welder all his life in Wisconsin and was on the Lambeau Field project home of the Packards. Now that he is retired he has become an artist with mad skills. Long story short he raided my scrap pile and went to town and this is what I got. Meet Crank coming in at 7 feel tall with eyes that light up in red, headlight, taillight, green buttons that light and white lights shinning up his legs. when the wind blows he has a cow bell that lets me know it is windy. HE MAKES ME LAUGH WHEN GOING TO MY OFFICE. So, here's the deal I thought we might have some fun with Crank. CLASSIC AUTO RESTORATIONS is going to sponsor a contest for the Bricklin Boys and Girls out there. This is totally free and just for fun so don't get to serious. THE FIRST 15 PEOPLE THAT CAN GET AS CLOSE TO THE COUNT OF DISCARDED BRICKLIN PARTS IN CRANK WILL RECIEVE A T-SHIRT IN A SIZE THEY REQUEST WITH THE BRICKLIN LOGO EMBROIDERED ON THE SHIRT WITH THERE CAR NUMBER ALSO EMBROIDERED ON THE SHIRTS IN THE COLOR OF THERE CAR. EASY, YES? I WILL POST THE WINNERS BETWEEN MAY 10TH TO MAY 15TH. ONCE YOUR NAME IS POSTED YOU CAN EMAIL ME OR TEXT ME YOUR INFORMATION ALONG WITH CAR NUMBER AN COLOR OF YOUR CAR. THE SHIRT IN THE PHOTO IS A SAMPLE WITH MY 4 SPEED NUMBER ON IT. YOU WILL SEE I SENT MY CAR WITH EMAIL ADDRESS AND PHONE NUMBER.

Just thought you might like a bit of eye candy. This is a car we just finished for Steve Durham. This is one that was else ware and was just not getting finished. One of the typical stories where life happens and effects the process. I am very happy to say after a little hard work this jewel is going out on the road. Truly an amazing car in person pictures don't even come close to how this looks in person. I was not sure about the vintage 90s flame wheels and steering wheel but once everything was re polished it just works. Interior is leather with monogramed seats, door panels and strut covers. Has electric mirrors, hands free sound system and digital white gauges. Engine was built with extra pony's and heavy-duty cooling system. Lower rockers were brought down smooth with a custom hood and a custom mixed color with black accents.
Hope you enjoyed this Les Randolph/ Classic Auto Restorations

Something people have been asking for. This is just a simple overlay to cover the standard cracked and weathered Bricklin Dash. This is for the guy that does not want to try and find a good cluster and wants the original look of the Bricklin dash instead of Carbon Fiber or Wood Grain. These panels can be painted or left black. This will save you hours on changing out a cluster. With just a few screws and about 30 minutes of your time you can make your cluster look new again.

This is a 1975 Bricklin we called the mule because we did a lot of experimenting with this car. Options on this car are the first power windows, back lit inside switches, cruise control, back up camera, Kenwood hands free stereo system with 400 watt 4 channel amp driving 4 Fosgate component speakers with tweeters in the headliner, 200 watt mono block amp driving a slim mount concealed Fosgate subwoofer, red digital gauges, carbon fiber dash kit, vinyl wrapped dash, all new interior, carpet kit, carpet mats, embroidered leather wrapped strut covers, new air board, front air tanks, air pump, air latch kit, upgraded blower set up, high speed blower motor harness to take load of blower switch, 120 amp alternator with upgraded charge harness to drive extra equipment, circuit breakers on main and charge line in the event there is a major short so vehicle cant catch fire do to electrical problem and is great for storing because one push of a button you can disconnect battery power, high volume water pump, aluminum radiator, 18 inch flex fan, fully automatic pusher fan that comes on at 185 degrees and will over ride to on when a/c is turned on, electronic ignition upgrade, electric headlight linears, wire rims with Laser etched center knock offs with a picture of the Bricklin with Classic Auto Restorations surrounding the car, hardwired battery tender for storage all you do is plug car into the wall when storing. I hope you enjoy seeing what can be done with these cars. As you can see we have had a lot of fun with the Bricklin but also some frustration when something looks great on the whiteboard and when you put into play it becomes a total disaster. Cant say the Bricklin is boring sometimes I think they talk to each other in the shop at night saying lets mess with him tomorrow. Hope you enjoyed this post. Les/ Classic Auto Restorations
