The 2024 Idaho Spud Cup is in the history books, 4 time SKUSA Super Nat’s champ Billy Musgrave taking the win in the premier class of the weekend, and it was not a shifter.
Billy changed his program up and raced a Doug Fleming tuned Briggs & Stratton single speed to victory winning a $5,000.00 pay check in the process.
Billy and his Factory Karts crew have been none stop testing for the past 3 years, from kid kart to shifter kart chassis and everything in between.
Billy nailed the performance of the Factory Karts L206 chassis last year, we have had racers winning on it all year long all over the country.
Thanks to everyone who has been behind us since Billy and I started this journey.

MRC/THOR SLOT CAR NEWS

Steve Stewart absolutely dominated the amateur classes at round 4 of the THOR Slot Car World Championship at Greg’s place on 5/15/24.

Steve was on a mission today, he took convincing wins in the Amateur Spec
Racer, Super Stock and Modified class.

Weldon Morris would be the only racer today to make Steve sweat. In the Super Stock class it went down to the wire, Steve took the win with his 234 total laps to just edge out Weldon’s 233 total laps.

Breaking News: Win a custom THOR slot car track by racing in 1 or all 5 remaining races. Each race day entry will get your name in to win one of 2 tracks given away at the last race.

In a few more days round 3 of the THOR Slot Car Would Championship will take place on the Viper Scale Racing custom CNC routed “Bull Ring” track.

The tracks are open for practice all week.

On Saturday practice will start at 8am and racing will start around noon.
