WHY NOT BUY A CAR FROM CRAIGSLIST?
With most things you buy online, or even on Craigslist for that matter, you can pretty much tell right away if they are in good working order. Plug that KitchenAid in and you’re going to know right off the bat if it can churn. Same deal for the bunk beds… it won’t take long to tell if you’re missing a critical plank of wood. However, a car is a different animal. According to Toyota, there are about 30,000 parts in a car. That’s just about 30,000 things that could either be wrong or go wrong in your car – arguably one of the most expensive things most people own. So why would you take the gamble on such a pricey product and buy from Joe Schmo down the street? Is he a mechanic? Are you? Has he even ever taken his car to the mechanic? He may say he has, but unless you know Joe, you’ll have to take him at his word.
