Development Tundra is officially in the mix.

Tuning development has begun on this truck — and yes, I still have the Tacoma. The Tundra got dad-duty this weekend and hauled the kids up to the trailhead without complaint.

More testing, more data, and more Toyota tuning coming. SXTH Element intakes already shipped.

Aaron’s hybrid Tacoma wrapped up in Pennsylvania 🇺🇸
SXTH Element intake, SXTH axle dump exhaust, and a custom CAMTuning calibration dialed in from real-world logs.

The hybrid trucks respond insanely well to tuning — better power delivery, sharper shifts, and a truck that feels as aggressive as it looks.

Kenny’s 2025 Tacoma wrapped up in California 🌵
SXTH Element intake, Magnaflow exhaust, 33s, and a calibration built around his setup and real-world logs. Bigger tires usually take some punch away — we accounted for that and brought the power back with plenty extra on top.

Every truck gets the same 1:1 process: install → drive → log → revise → dial it in.

California dirt roads approved.

Stock truck or fully modified, remote tuning is simple:

Install → Load calibration → Log → Revisions

No shop visit required. Just real results with support throughout the process.

BRYCE’S TRAILHUNTER
Maryland → tuned remotely

Remote tuning is simple:
Accessport arrives → install → load first revision → drive and log → receive revisions → flash updates → repeat as needed.

Bryce’s hybrid Trailhunter picked up 50+ hp and 50+ tq through a calibration built around actual data from his truck. Larger tires were added at the same time, so part of the process was accounting for the power loss that comes with them — getting that back and then adding even more on top.

No shop visit needed.

The process works because tuning doesn’t stop at a base file — revisions continue until the logs look right.

James in Kentucky just wrapped up calibration on his 2026 Tacoma with dual maps for both 87 and 93 octane. Manual transmission truck with rev hang correction, plus an SXTH intake and Trail Pipe setup all dialed in together for a smooth, responsive driving experience.

Every truck gets reviewed through real data logs and refined around the setup that’s actually on it. Remote tuning with the Cobb Accessport makes it possible no matter where you’re located.

Kenny’s hybrid Tacoma on 93 equipped with the Banks Ram Air intake and Mishimoto performance intercooler kit, calibrated through the COBB Accessport.

Always calibrated using actual logs from every single customer truck — reviewing airflow, boost, fueling, and drivability data throughout the process.

“I think the truck drives fantastic. I really love that you guys get back to me really quickly.”

While this was all performed on a Tacoma, these platforms are essentially the same, and these results should be comparable: 2024 Tacoma Intake Comparison Testing – Stock Calibration vs Real-World Results After much online discussion about intake performance on the new 2.4T Tacoma platform, I...

I wanted to see what actually happens when several popular 2024 Tacoma intake systems are tested under the same controlled conditions.

Same truck.
Same dyno.
Same fuel.
Same day.
Same testing procedure.

Factory airbox vs Banks vs SXTH vs K&N — all tested on the stock turbo and otherwise stock engine/transmission calibration.

One thing that surprised me:
This platform adapts MUCH faster after an ECU learning reset than I expected. The difference between early pulls and stabilized runs was smaller than anticipated across all of the intakes.

The dyno results themselves were also much closer than most people would probably expect on the factory calibration.

Where the bigger differences showed up was in fuel correction behavior and airflow modeling response between intake designs.

After the stock-calibration testing was completed, the K&N intake was professionally calibrated on 91 octane for the owner of this truck — and that’s really where the platform started to show its potential.

Full writeup now live with:
• dyno graphs
• methodology
• fuel trim data
• stock tune vs calibrated results
