We are hiring! On-Q Collision Center has an opening for an experienced auto body technician. Here are a few of the offered benefits to working with us.

*Hourly pay- Starting at $28-$35 per hour, based on experience.

We are looking for someone who

*Has experience in collision repair
*Takes pride in producing high quality work
*Is dependable and works well with others
*Can perform body repairs, panel replacement, and dent repair
*Painting experience is a plus, but not required
*Have your own basic body repair tools

Increases are based on shown ability, attendance, attitude, and the ability to work as a team member. We are a small facility that puts out a great product, and everyone works toward the same goal. We are in our 20th year of business here in Ringle, and have a large customer base in the surrounding area.

What is a DRP body shop you ask?
If you've ever had an accident, your insurer may mention a DRP shop in your area. Sometimes they disguise it by saying it is a "Preferred" body shop.
A DRP, (Direct Repair Program), is a negotiated agreement set up between an insurance company and an auto body repair facility.
The shop has to agree to repair guidelines and pricing set up by each insurance company.
These include:
*Cuts in hourly rates paid to that shop in return for the promise of bulk repairs going forward.
*The cheapest parts, aftermarket or used. Even if your vehicle is only a year old.
*Cuts in the material costs to fix your vehicle.
*Cuts in needed repair hours.

The results?
*Shops cut corners to try and recover lost dollars.
*Parts are inferior and will fail sooner.
*Your vehicle is instantly devalued.
*You can see the repair and so can everyone else.
*Repairs are rushed and quality drops.
*Factory warranties are denied because OEM parts were not used.
*DRP shops base repairs on quantity, not quality.
*You are a number, not a name.

By law, you can choose to work with any independent body shop versus a DRP or Preferred shop.

🔥WARNING🔥-That little air freshener on your rear view mirror or dash that cost you 3$ could cost you thousands. Air fresheners, even the cardboard style, contain oils that heat up in your car while it's parked. The hot oil can drip out and melt your dash components. It's that hot. A real estimate on this 2021 Toyota Camry is just over $3000 to replace the heater control, the stereo, and 3 dash trim pieces. That's with a used stereo and climate control unit. If parts aren't available used, the estimate is over $9600. We have also seen crystals hung from mirrors that have magnified sunlight and have lit interior trim on fire 🔥

Deer vs car season is here! If you have an accident, please call your favorite body shop before you call the insurance company. Most insurers are asking that you do a photo submission through an app. They write an estimate based on your photos, and send you a payment. These estimates are never accurate because they cannot see all of the hidden damage. Any good body shop can give you advice as to how to proceed in a way that will expedite your claim.
