Just wrapped up a “quick spit shine” on this little blue grocery getter.

By “quick spit shine,” we mean a partital paint correction (aka paint enhancement) because apparently even daily commuters deserve better than automatic car wash trauma and stealership prep abuse.

The metallic blue on this Honda absolutely woke up once the swirls, haze, and wash marring were cleaned up properly. Nothing over-the-top. Just clean paint, sharp reflections, and enough gloss to make the neighbors think somebody finally got promoted.

Reliable? Absolutely.
Fast? 😂😂...No.
Shiny enough to stare at in the driveway for 20 minutes? Without question.

Time...it is both the enemy, and the reward. Every vehicle that arrives carries the evidence of it — miles driven, weather endured, years of wear slowly written into paint, leather, and trim. Yet with enough patience, skill, and effort, time can also be challenged. A proper correction is not rushed. A coating is not applied carelessly. Real craftsmanship demands hours no one sees so the final result speaks for itself without saying a word. To that end is the irony of it all: time means everything in this work because quality cannot exist without it, yet time means nothing once convenience becomes the standard priority.

Full wet sand(1k, 2k, 3k, 4k) to improve distinction of image with multiple step correction. The hardest paint on the planet! 🥵

Made a good turn on this girl. She was indeed, in need...
Services rendered:
Multi-stage decontamination: copolymer dewaxing prespray with high pressure rinse, high PH Alkaline contact wash, 2nd contact wash with acid wash, ironX reduction spray and clay bar treatment, Di final rinse.
Full paint correction: 28 hour machine correction, spot sand for RID reduction, 7" twisted wool rotary cut, medium wool pad DA correction, medium foam DA polish, soft foam rotary refinement with prep/primer polish.
Final wipe down with coating prep spray, installation of a 6yr(10yr manufacturer claim) marine grade ceramic coating.

This monstrous Camaro ZL1 came to us with a seriously rough finish—deep swirl marks, light scratches, and haze from who-knows-what(old ceramic high spots 😅) previous treatments. As a fully built performance machine, it deserved a flawless look to match its roar.

We started with a multi-stage paint correction: wet danding and heavy cutting to level out the deeper defects, followed by refining polishes to restore clarity and depth. Every inch of that black finish was carefully examined under light to make sure we didn’t miss anything that could be improved.

Once the gloss was singing, we sealed in that mirror-like shine with a professional-grade ceramic coating. This coating can help repel water and road grime, making maintenance a breeze and keeping the finish looking sharp week after week. Plus, it may provide enhanced chemical resistance and long-lasting protection against track day contaminants.
