Yesterday was just the left side of crazy. We got up to try to pull Sherman at Saline for the MTA event but alas rain made for a cancellation. So we painted the basement and worked at the house before deciding to run to the Fulton Co. fair to pull. It took the whole village to make it happen. Thanks to my parents for watching Eleanor and getting her to bed. Thanks to my wife for keeping me awake since we pulled at 11pm. We managed to set a new best for pulling a 6.5 at 245.65’. That’s a heck of a step up from 221’ and the truck ran fantastic. I’m still dealing with shift issues but we had fun and I’m finally getting this thing further down the track. The last pull is smiths creek and hopefully I’ll have this up there!

Life is busy but we are still tinkering when we can. Sherman got to go for a full drive to work but, it chucked a starter bolt before we could leave and make it home. Some rigging later I was on the road and made the drive in a nasty thunderstorm home. Thanks to Sinclair’s creation Lair for bringing new starter bolts and for the follow home to make sure no other issues came up. This hasn’t been my fastest project ever but it’s definitely been one of the most enjoyable!
