Now Hiring!!! Auto Detailer (Paint Correction / Buffing & Polishing)
Overview
We’re looking for an experienced Auto Detailer who specializes in paint correction, buffing, and polishing. If you take pride in producing high-gloss, swirl-free results and can work carefully and consistently, we want to meet you.
Responsibilities
• Perform paint correction using proper inspection and correction methods (safe, controlled polishing)
• Buff and polish vehicles to remove swirls, light scratches, oxidation, water spots, and dullness
• Follow prep steps correctly (wash/decon where needed, masking, panel inspection, final wipe-down)
• Select and use appropriate pads, compounds, and polishes for each paint condition
• Maintain a clean, organized detailing bay and proper tool/product inventory
• Prep and finish vehicles according to shop standards (interior/exterior as needed)
• Communicate with customers and/or the team about condition, expectations, and results
• Take before/after photos for documentation and marketing
Qualifications
• Proven experience as an auto detailer with paint correction (5 years of experience)
• Hands-on skills with buffing, polishing, and multi-step correction
• Strong attention to detail and quality control mindset
• Knowledge of machine polishing basics and safe paint handling
• Reliability, punctuality, and pride in workmanship
• Ability to work efficiently while maintaining high standards
Preferred
• Experience with ceramic coating/sealants or protection packages
• Experience detailing a variety of vehicle makes/colors with different paint hardness levels
• A portfolio of before/after correction results (photos or examples)
Schedule & Pay
• Full-time
• Pay: hourly, ($20-30/hr) based upon experience
• Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm
