I managed to put together another motor for myself the other day. I was able to put it on the dyno and make sure everything looked OK. Still needs some tuning when I get the carb that I'll run on it. Made good torque and should make a solid 675hp when i can lean it out some. Here are the basic specs:

496BBC
10to1 compression
Hydraulic roller cam 242/252 on a 113
Promaxx 317 heads
454R intake

I love to see videos of people's "cold starts" on their hotrods. Problem is the have been sitting over night and are fuel injected with stock cam. Psshh. I finally cranked this old thing up after about 3 months, and I wouldn't even consider it a "cold idle" because I had to give the carb gas for 5 min for it to wake up. Still sounds good and will pin your ass to the seat for sure! It was nice to pull it out and wash it and take it for a little spin.

Shop is closed. Not taking anymore motors or engine work. I'll leave this page up and keep it car related with some stuff I do for myself. Thanks for everyone's support.

I guess I'll post this here too just for records. Waiting on vacuum pump and carb. Then ready to make some noise.

347 and that came in for repair. Had to rebalance with a new balancer, replace a lifter and do some carb tuning. Ended up doing pretty good on the Dyno. I didn't choose anything for this build. Just disassembled it and cleaned everything and fixed where need be. Here are the basic specs.

347sbf
10.0to1 compression
Trickflow 170 heads
Anderson n41 cam. (222/[email protected] 110lsa)
Victor Jr intake
Quickfuel 750
Ran at 30° total timing due to it being a stick shift car... Didn't want to run a chance of it pinging. Customer can adjust it if he wants. I just dyno'd it to make sure everything was fixed and ready to drop back into the car. My job is done. ✌️
