We are asked quite often what you will need for a ME2.0 to ME2.8 Swap, it varies model to model and you need to ask before buying anything.

However, here is an example (M112-M113K) that would translate for the W202 and 2000 or older W208.

Parts:
- ESP: 031 545 07 32
- 2001-2002 W208 M112/3 EIS (with matching key or we can make a key). PN: 210 545 02 08 Q4 (other options available)
- YAW sensor: 0 265 005 230
- Brake Pressure Sensor: 0 265 005 303
- M113K ECU (Any model ME2.8 plugs 4 & 5)
- EGS52 TCU for Automatic / Manual Controller for Manual transmission.
- Last but not least, The MSS Swap Service to put the ECU & TCU configuration all together with tuning, no lights or errors, and wiring instructions. -$1,210 on an automatic.

The removal of the 5G origination chassis models caused a bit of issues for manual swaps. Some would work with some coding and elbow grease, others would never have cruise control. We have finished the first version 7G Manual Controllers for testing. This covers drive authorization, reverse lights (instead of tapping SAM’s and coding, some models are impossible without a relay), cruise control, and torque limitations.

The solutions for manuals are heavily dependent on the chassis, but this unlocks the door for the M157/278/276 and newer cars.
