A big shout out to Jorge Davila for the interest. The trust and opportunity and patience. We started the conversation in March about us taking the job off and on and expecting to be done within 3 to 4 months and we ended up earlier than expected and on time for him to enjoy it during the summer. He also had bad experiences with the “WELL KNOWN” shops and even told me the last truck that was built he was scared to drive it away from his neighborhood since it felt like it was not right. Well I told him that to begin with I would NEVER let it leave my store if ot was unsafe to drive. (Which it happened to me with that shop that allot of people swear up and down that are the best. But they aren’t ) and not to worry about his c10 as we would definitely keep him in the loop of all work. Well that’s what we did and we finally had it checked and tweaked and aligned and installed front tubs since in July when he picked it up he said he would bring it back when he could and we let it go so he could enjoy it for a little and if there was ANY minor kinks that the next visit was for tweaking and also finishing the build. Well now it’s been done and finally has a good alignment which was all in green where it matters as y’all can see in the alignment sheet we provide to every alignment customer. Thanks again Jorge. It’s been fun working on this one. Maybe we can work on the audio on the next time we see it but first you need to listen to what I wanted to let you hear in person so you can know what you will get. These were Powdercoated with a special method that isn’t available as a standard option. It is extra for the extra in other words. Been recently re polished and what you see is what you get. Anyone with 99-02. Or 03-07 classic trucks. We can help you out. Whether it’s bagging it fully or just continuing the work that was started but haven’t been finished. Or if you just need Maintenance work or you want upgrades. We can work on it all. This one we will fully relocate under hood and Also relocate fuel cell or tank mount with Reklez Suspension Works LLC. components to speed up the process. And Narrowing rearend with Moser Engineering we also will repair or replace all bushings needed. And give it a touch up so the frame looks better. Y’all’s stay tuned for this one as it will also have some CCA Forged 26x9 and 26x10 with a REAL 6” lip. And one all that is done we will see what air management we will run. By the way. A little but of what’s going now at the shop. 2 door tahoe wanted to run 12 wide with 10” lips. Well now it’s back to go under the knife. Will be doing step notch. Tubs. Notch cover. QA1 Coilovers set properly with the proper spring rate to weight of the vehicle. 4 link arms so it’s traveling the smoothest it can be. Fuel cell so the original one doesn’t drag as this will be sitting roughly tucking 4” of wheel. Rebuilding the whole rearend as you can see it has issues. But it will leave with fresh Moser Engineering axles and Yukon Gear & Axle guts. Properly lined up to get ALL the torque you can get without marking like you can see it was doing. And it seemed like someone already tried to set it in line but didn’t work. But no worries. We got y’all covered. Stay tuned for this one. Shout out to Abel Frausto for the opportunity and trust. He got some 24x12 BILLETS The proper design wheels don’t stop at the design itself. The tire can make or break the overall look. No sense of y’all spending so much money on y’all’s builds and NOT get the right tire on your wheels. It takes away from the final look of your build. Stare at your front tires. Then stare at your rears. If your rears look like they are smaller than the fronts. It’s because you don’t have the proper size tires. And this goes mainly for the wider than 10” wheels. We stock tires for 12 wide. And 16 wide wheels. So anything in between it will work. And even 11 wide wheels with the tires we use can also work too. So next time you buy some wheels. Give us a shot and you won’t regret it. And if you already have wheels but are missing that final touch and you don’t know what it is. It’s the tires that don’t fit your wheels. And sometimes my OCD doesn’t let me leave things alone when it’s really kit needed but knowing you can adjust the rearend axle to center to the bed when you want it is so much better. And for those who don’t know. The wheels may not be centered if you designed it for one diameter size but you run what others don’t really run. So fully adjustable 4 link arms are their to aid for those who have OCD 😉 and that’s not a problem, it’s you going the extra mile to make things the best way they can be. This is the update of the shop truck. We have been off and on it as we have been having allot of work as well these past few weeks and also short handed too since a few have been sick.
