These pictures are from a VW GTI that I did an intake valve carbon cleaning on. If you have a higher mileage engine with Direct Injection (almost all newer gas engines) and have never had your intake valves walnut blasted, there's a chance they look like this. Some symptoms of heavy carbon buildup on intake valves are a lack of top end power, poor acceleration, stalling when cold, misfires, loss of fuel economy, rough running, and random engine shakes at idle speed. This can present with or without a check engine light. If your experiencing any of these symptoms, give me a call! 😁👍

Dyno Video of a 402 Stroker I recently built for some friends of mine. Setup is Eagle Forged Crank and 6.125 Rods, JE Forged pistons, Katech ported 799s, BTR Red Hot cam, Holley Hi Ram, D1SC procharger, Huron speed dual pump setup running E85. Dynoed on low boost pulley and conservative timing until it's broken in. They plan on dropping pulleys and tuning more at the track this summer, she's definitely gonna be a ripper! 🤟😎
