CENTER LISLE, NY – The weather gods were finally on the same page with Thunder Mountain Speedway on Saturday night as only the fourth racing weekend of the season was completed. Shaun Walker was the winner in the Dirt Track Digest TV Modified feature for the first time this season. Jimmy Zacharias topped the DIRTcar 358 Modifieds, with Will Eastman invading to win the DIRTcar Sportsman. Mike Morse captured the Factory Stock feature, while Charles Lohmeyer found victory lane in the 600 Modifieds. Kyle Pierce dominated the 600 Sprints to take the checkered flag.

Shaun Walker was able to seal the deal Saturday night. Walker hadn’t been to victory lane at the speedway in several years, but he was up to the task on this night.

Walker started from the pole and received constant challenges from Brandon Walters throughout the opening laps of the race. Walker led while Walters applied steady pressure to his No. 21.

Walker kept up the pace with Walters challenging as the race reached halfway, with Matt Smith, a multi-time winner, also joining the fray for the race lead.

On lap 21, Walker, Walters, and Smith went three-wide for the lead, with Smith spinning in turns three and four to bring out the yellow.

On the restart, Walker jumped back out front while Darren Smith made his way into the mix for the race lead. Darren chased Walker over the final handful of laps as the leaders reached traffic.

At the conclusion, it was Walker taking home the victory over Darren, who started 12th. Walters ended up third, while Tommy Collins drove all the way from 17th to fourth. Alan Barker blasted the top side from 20th to finish fifth.

Jimmy Zacharias drove to victory in the 30-lap DIRTcar 358 Modified feature after taking the lead on lap three from early race leader Rod Watts. Starting from the pole, Zacharias quickly settled into rhythm and powered to the checkered flag for the win. Matt Smith crossed the line in second after starting third, while Joshua Landers made a strong run from seventh to finish third. Jordan McCreadie brought home a fourth-place finish, with Watts rounding out the top five after leading the opening laps.

Will Eastman powered to victory in the 25-lap DIRTcar Sportsman Modified feature, charging from the third starting spot to claim the win. Eastman took the lead on a lap 18 restart from pole-sitter Jacob Waibel, who finished second, while Sullivan Dickey completed the podium after starting alongside Waibel on the front row. Jared Green made one of the biggest moves of the race, advancing seven positions from 11th to finish fourth, with Cody Jackson rounding out the top five after starting seventh.

Mike Morse charged to the front in the 20-lap Factory Stocks Feature 1, taking the lead on lap six en route to the victory after starting third. Pole-sitter Brian Rhodes led the early going before settling for second at the checkered flag, while Jerry Lobdell Jr. advanced from fifth to finish third. Jason Rhodes brought home a fourth-place finish after starting on the front row, and Lukas Mills made an impressive run from ninth to complete the top five.

Charles Lohmeyer scored the victory in the 20-lap 600cc Modified main-event after reclaiming the top spot late in the race. Brandon Loucks mounted a strong charge and used lapped traffic to take the lead on lap 16, but Lohmeyer battled back to regain control and secure the win from the pole position. Loucks settled for second, while Tom Donahue advanced from fifth to finish third. Talan Oliver crossed the line fourth, with Dustin Zimmer rounding out the top five.

Kyle Pierce raced to victory in the 20-lap 600cc Sprints feature, taking command on lap three after passing early leader Mary Earley. Starting third, Pierce quickly worked his way to the front and never looked back on his way to the checkered flag. Zach Bobbett made an impressive charge from 10th to finish second, while pole-sitter Earley held on for third. Casey Williams finished fourth, with Wayne Stella Jr. advancing from eighth to complete the top five.

Thunder Mountain Speedway is back in action next Saturday, June 20, with the Doug Worthing Memorial and First Responders Night. The show includes the Dirt Track Digest TV Modifieds, DIRTcar Sportsman, Factory Stocks, 600 Modifieds, 600 Sprints as well as the hopeful return of the IMCA Modifieds.

CENTER LISLE, NY – For only the fourth time in 2026, the weather gods smiled on Thunder Mountain Speedway to allow a night of racing. Matt Smith captured a thrilling Dirt Track Digest TV Modified 35-lap feature, while Jordan McCreadie took down the DIRTcar 358 Modified 30-lap feature win. Other winners included Jared Green in the DIRTcar Sportsman feature, Chelsie Beebe in the 600cc Modified main event, Zach Bobbett with the 600 Sprints, and Jerry Lobdell Jr., who dominated the 20-lap Factory Stock dance.

Tommy Collins got the jump at the start of the Dirt Track Digest TV Modified feature after starting on the outside of the front row alongside pole sitter Eric Leet. The duo battled throughout the opening laps, and a caution came out with Collins still staying at the front.

With 10 laps complete, Collins kept the race lead while brothers Matt Smith and Darren Smith challenged one another for the runner-up position. Eventually, Matt was able to secure that position.

As the race moved to halfway, Matt began to close on Collins for the number one spot. Collins worked the cushion, as did Matt, while his brother worked down low.

Matt worked over Collins on lap 20, pulling a slider in turns three and four. Collins returned the favor in turns one and two. Matt stayed with Collins into turns three and four and pulled the same slide job to take the lead on lap 21. From there, Matt pulled away as his brother Darren worked by Collins in traffic to eventually take second.

In the final laps, Darren closed in, but it was all Matt, securing his second win of the season. Darren finished second with Collins holding off challenges to finish third. Cody Higbie was fourth with Leet rounding out the top five.

Jordan McCreadie charged from the sixth starting position to score the victory in the 30-lap DIRTcar 358 Modified feature after taking the lead from Jimmy Zacharias on lap 15. Zacharias, who started second, paced the opening half of the event before McCreadie made his move to the front and never looked back. Matt Smith completed the podium with a third-place finish after starting fifth, while Cody Higbie crossed the line fourth and Brandon Walters rounded out the top five.

Jared Green pulled off a dramatic last-lap pass to capture the 25-lap DIRTcar Sportsman feature after tracking down race-long leader Alan Komar. Komar, who started from the pole, appeared headed for victory as he paced the field for nearly the entire event, but Green, who rolled off eighth, made his winning move coming off turn four on the final lap to steal the win. Komar settled for a hard-fought second-place finish, while Chance Spoonhower Jr. completed the podium in third. Matt Brewer crossed the line fourth after starting fifth in a competitive Sportsman main event.

Chelsie Beebe went wire-to-wire to score the victory in the 20-lap 600cc Modified feature, leading every circuit from her pole starting position. Beebe faced a late challenge from Tom Donohue but remained in control when it mattered most to secure the win. Jared Green put together an impressive drive from 12th to finish second, while Charles Lohmeyer completed the podium in third. Samuel Hubbard charged from 16th to fourth, and Talan Oliver advanced from 11th to round out the top five.

Zach Bobbett raced to victory in the 20-lap 600cc Sprint feature, taking advantage of his front-row starting spot to earn the win. Bobbett held off a strong field throughout the event, with Kyle Pierce charging from seventh to finish second at the checkered flag. Isabella Landis turned in a solid run to claim third, while Cliff Pierce crossed the line fourth. Ivan Forney completed the top five after advancing from the eighth starting position.

Jerry Lobdell Jr. took command on lap five and never looked back en route to victory in the 20-lap Factory Stock feature. Lobdell, who started second, tracked down early leader Brian Rhodes and made the winning pass to secure the top spot. Rhodes held on for second at the finish, while Mike Morse completed the podium in third. Jason Rhodes crossed the line fourth, and Shane Moshier rounded out the top five.

Thunder Mountain Speedway is back in action next Saturday, June 6, with Bob Wildoner Night. The program features the Dirt Track Digest TV Modifieds, DIRTcar Sportsman, the IMCA Modifieds for the first time as well as the 600cc Modifieds, and the 600 Sprints.
