To start, I had never installed halo rings previously, a lens replacement customer had asked that I install halos during his Viper Outlaw lens swap. I did some research and said I could, and he sent all of his parts over. I found very quickly the company who made the halo kit for a Viper did not correctly size the rings, with the Viper needing smaller rings. After ordering a smaller pair I was able to test fit on some damaged bezels and come up with a strategy to hide wires and do a flush mount that would not seperate (LEDs came with 3m double sided tape). It took about 2 months in total between holidays and mandatory overtime on the day job. Even with the extended install time, the customer was still very happy with the results. I don't know that I would want to do more, just due to how time-consuming it was, but I think I learned enough and have a strategy now that would speed the process up along with properly sized rings not needing as much work. Here is the photo dump. It's hard to tell but it took a lot of sanding and filling to blend and get the rings to fit nice.
