Base System is to replace the factory Yamaha ECM and Wiring Harness with all new components for an aviation type application. This new EFI system utilizes the Haltech S2 ECM along with a brand new custom built aviation grade wiring harness. All harnesses are built in-house with Tefzel wire and are wrapped from the firewall forward. This new Haltech system adds features of Fuel Trimming / “Auto Tune” via NTK Wideband O2 Sensor to WOT along with Long Term Fuel Trims “Learn” that is customer accepted, IAT Spark compensation, FULL onboard data logging and Tuning. The factory IACV is also used for great cold weather starts and smooth & consistent idle. Engine monitoring can be done via laptop but NO Dash / EMS is included in base system.
