For all you guys and gals that are leaning towards installing a Dry Sump System. we have made an oil pump delete cover that takes the place of your o/e gutted oil pump, We have been using this cover on our own motors for awhile know. And now am offering it up to the race crowd. this cover is only for d/s systems that do not use the o/e pump for the primary oil supply. It Is used on systems that have the pump mounted to the pan or externally driven oil pumps &.I am not absolutely certain of all the applications it can work on, but my guess there are quite a few. pm me for more info thanks, RC @ DRC Race craft.

Always looking for a better way to get where we need to be. Pics of my best effort along w/the Full Spectrum uprights to let customers know that the DRC C/arms actually will work well w/the Full Spectrum upright. Big thumbs up to Luke @ Full Spectrum for this very nice & well executed front upright. pretty much covers the details that address's the important things that we are looking for with a production based front clip other than just replacing the entire front assembly. so am thinking w/the Full Spectrum uprights & the DRC C/arms this would be a really good place to start for the guy's & (gals) that are serious about what they are wanting to do .A+ for the Full Spectrum uprights. Hey everybody, we r back & ready to go again. This was our 1st race in the new SCCA Time Trial series. Scca is wanting to include time attack cars as a part of their format on a national level & make a real series of such, which I think is a good idea. They r going 2 make this a part of the national points program & is going 2 b called the Time Trials National Tour which is going to consist of 9 races spread all over the country. I think that is awesome but 4 us it’s kind of a bummer cause there is no way we can travel the country to do all of these, It would b really cool cause we have a car that can compete w/anybody in the country, so we will hit the ones that we can. So as far as our race, things went well & only wish that there were more entries that we could run against. Car is classed as tt1 (unlimited) & if we spent an hour on it 2 get rid of 25/30 lbs we would qualify for tt2, but don’t want the easy pickins & want to run w/the fastest guys, which we r still the fastest by quite a bit. (2/3 seconds faster) than the rest of the group. There were some really good cars there & some that went faster than us that were not in our class, scca told them they couldn’t run in tt1 but would make a concession that they could race but wouldn’t be scored as a tt1 entry ( I think) so as it turned out we were really close to their time anyway. So on w/the race w/end. Everything went well, no serious issues, some brake problems that we got sorted quickly & long story short. We r the current track, class, fastest time & regional t/t winners for the last 2 years so why stop here. Again we set fast time, track & class record as before & our personal best time by almost a second. (these r records that we have set anyway) So I guess that means that we r the 1st SCCA T/T National Tour winner on the new format. so all in all it was a good w/end as you know the further you go up the ladder to achieve performance the harder it gets, financial, time, personal & on & on.
Need to recognize & thank everybody that helps us do this, product support, financial, emotional, physical, friends & on & on. Could not do this w/out the help especially from D, she is the backbone that keeps me going & keeps everything here in order. Cory Davis,Marcus Ortiz, r a Huge part of what goes on here. looking forward to the rest of the year & hope we can get to some of the races that r a little far away. Always looking for support & anybody that’s willing to help out & many thanks to a new sponsor that we picked up this week Geared Performance in Reno, very cool staff & facility. LMK Thanks so much RC @ DRC Racecraft .com

Been absent for a while but,
We’re still here! Working on some different engine platforms for the Subaru and always wanting to better the suspension geometry to improve handling. Just finished up the Regional SCCA TT Series at Thunderhill West and did very well, we reset our existing Class Record, 1.204 by nearly a second, and we were on our way to the teens until we blew off an inter-cooler hose that kept us from getting there. Anyway we ending up winning the series for the second year in a row in TTX class (unlimited) so now it”s time for us to move to a more competitive series, (Nasa) (GTA) etc.
We have also signed up w/Manley 2 be a distributor (WD) of their A+ engine components.also now exclusively using Dan Benson performance for all of the machining expertise involved the Subaru engine. Been doing motorsports for a long time & have yet to meet somebody that is as experienced as Dan in his innovative & different approach in the preparation on the Subaru platform. It is not the same as what everybody else is doing on these engines!
Have also added a new tuner , Marcus Ortiz that so far been a huge asset in managing the power delivery, allowing us to “use” the power that is available. We can all make big ,but how much do we really need? & can use effectively. Next step is bigger tires & w/see where that takes us. Thanks to everyone who supports us, cause we cannot do this w/out u guys!
Please excuse the photos, we r waiting for all the appropriate stickers from our “very valued sponsors/vendors” as soon as we get them. Thanks so much to everyone that supports us. Ray & D Cunningham, DRC Racecraft

Just looking 4 some info, I know that u & a lot of u & ur friends have encountered the dreaded subaru issue of the oil pump pickup tube that has failed, cracked or whatever. what I would like 2 know is how many of those engines that have failed p/up tubes were using aftermarket crank pulleys (solid), as in cobb, perrin, kart boy, go fast bits, etc. or whatever. really looking for info from individuals that have experienced the problem. not interested in 2nd hand info from "my buddys friend" or next door neighbor that heard from his kids buddy that he thinks he had an issue! this info could help all of us. lmk RC DRC Racecraft
