A fantastic day! 🙌
We set the fastest lap in both heats, finishing P3 (+11 positions) in the first and P8 (+6) in the second. Since the heats began, we’ve pushed hard: from P54 in qualifying to P18 overall, with plenty of overtakes on track and that great speed.
Tomorrow we start P9 in the Super Heat.

Let’s give it everything on the final day!

The day didn’t start the way we wanted, but it finished strong.

Qualifying was tight: a busy grid cost me a lap, and P14 doesn’t reflect our pace. The heat did. I climbed from P13 to P6 with pace right at the front.

Confident and ready to keep moving up tomorrow!

From Redondo Beach to the starting grids of Italy. 🇺🇸🇮🇹

P5 in the prefinal. P12 across the line in the final, later classified P16 after a five-second penalty.

JohnJohn started the final P7, lost two places off the start, and fought back to P8. After being pushed off track and dropping seven positions, he stayed in the fight and recovered to P12 at the flag.

"Four top-four heats and a P5 prefinal showed my pace. Unfortunately racing doesnt always go your way but am blessed for the opportunity to race in Italy 🇮🇹 and motivated to return here for the FIA Karting World Cup Oct 8 thru 11 with this experience —and plenty of motivation."

From the shores of Redondo Beach, California, to Viterbo, Italy, my first time at Leopard Circuit Viterbo for the final round of the ACI Italian Karting Championship.

The only driver flying the U.S. flag in my category, I posted the seventh-fastest qualifying lap among 78 drivers and placed fourth in my qualifying group.

I followed that up with P4, P4, P3 and P4 in the heats then P5 in the pre-Final.

Final was going great until someone behind me forgot to use the brakes... dropped to 18th, stayed in the fight and cross the line P12.
