This absolutely beautiful GTS Cayman came in for some very minor scratches on the bottom of the front bumper. Small job but we spent our time on the repair and making sure this color was dialed and it looked new before it gets wrapped with PPF film. We ALWAYS recommend waiting at least 30 days (our paint manufacturer actually says longer.) before applying films. No baking the paint isn’t going to solve this problem so you can apply the next day. Ask me how I know 😂.

The C8 Corvette. The car that made me second guess being a Ford fan. Unfortunately this absolute unit of a car got a good smack to the quarter and door. The bad it got damaged. The good is it got fixed right and didn’t use any used parts. This required extensive removal and installation of parts as the quarter panel itself is removable. It got a new quarter panel. A new door/various parts and color blended onto the trunk and fender. Before we removed any parts, we documented gaps and any issues from the factory install which we were able to correct when reassembling the car. It wasn’t the easiest job in the world but that’s always ok we are up for the challenge.

The skills and learning never stops. From countless hours honing painting skills and learning techniques a lot of people will never get the opportunity to do. Also to be humble enough to know that there’s a few people that could blow me out of the water. Running a business is definitely a new skill but one that has vastly accelerated past the “standard” body shop. We are doing and accomplishing things that some of these long time shops have no clue about. Sometimes it’s not about following the crowd but making your own trails.

The term “industry standard” has always annoyed me. It’s an excuse for insurance to not pay for the correct procedures and half ass a repair. It’s an excuse techs use for not doing their job fully. It gets thrown around like it’s law. “Industry standard” is below the minimum standard a repair/paintjob should be. It’s like saying hey I like being mediocre. “Industry standard” needs the bar to be raised and has no place in our shop.

We have a rare opportunity for the right person. We’re currently looking for a skilled painter. We are not your typical body shop. We have no interest in being a cookie cutter shop just cranking out cars and bending over for the insurance companies. We take pride in what we do and have very high expectations. You come to us knowing we have our community’s/customers/techs back. Our main focus is on collision and we are looking for someone highly competent and have an attention to detail. We would like someone that is willing to learn other skills and learn how to do peelable paint. From fades to flakes-candies to custom paint graphics are just a small fraction of what we can do. If you’re great and have the fundamentals down (color matching-cutting and buffing tri coats application.) We can train the right candidate to learn more than you ever would in a normal shop.

We’re all giving a choice in life. Yes or no. The circumstances and situations are all unique to each one of us. Some have it easier than others. Some grow up with all the right people and environments to be in. We all end up in the same place, and our perceptions of ourselves ultimately determine where we end up along the way. Outside influences dictate a-lot when you’re younger. As you age they doesn’t matter as much. The outside voices don’t necessarily speak negatively of you but something they don’t see in themselves. As a young person you take it personally as an older wiser person you smile and laugh. I’ve been told a lot of negative things in life and a lot of people doubt me. My one super power is turning that negative energy into fuel. It’s not always been healthy way to deal with obstacles but when I doubt myself I need to shut those other mf’s up. Since the day I popped out into this world I was giving the greatest opportunity to struggle as hard as I can to make it. A lot of people will never even get the opportunity to say they changed their life and family tree around. Some people will never get to understand what truly makes them tick. I see quite a few friends now on this same path and I want you all to know I’m proud of you and for me it’s only gotten better with time. Seven years sober. Eight years w**d free. Still not perfect. Still don’t know what success means because the bar is forever moving. Once you think you’re getting to the top you are only at the beginning. Thank you for all the opportunities to grow and learn and I’m truly grateful for most of the people I have got to meet coming through our doors.

When we started the shop we had pre conceived notion of what Redmond and Central Oregon needed, and what we wanted to do. From six years ago our focus on what we do has changed, but our dedication to our community hasn’t changed. What we offer is a personal hands on experience with the owners and followed up with some of the best technicians and technology that the collision industry has to offer.
