Empire Hill Climb is one of the great historic events that the Detroit Region has the honor of supporting.

Unfortunately, last year, one of the banners for empirehillclimb turned up missing.

Epicenter was able to donate a replacement banner this year for the event.

If you’ve never checked out the hill climb, you should. It is a lot of fun to see all the different vehicles and the different classes compete.. many other small businesses are involved with the event and it’s just all around a good time. (They’re always looking for volunteers too!)

2026 Solo & RallyCross Helmet Certification Allowances have been posted. 2010s will be extended 1 year (through 2026) to allow participants time to acquire a newer helmet.

we’re looking for volunteer in-car coaches, vehicle inspectors, course workers, registration, and others to help coordinate our school and make the event run smoothly

Thank you to all the marshals that worked the Detroit Grand Prix this weekend. We had a lot of action and great racing all weekend. It was great working with some many familiar faces. I had a fun time working with everyone there.

This was by far the best Flagging and Communications I have had this season, it be hard to beat this weekend. Everything from the flagging, the calls, information provided and the light work was pretty much spot on everyday. Thank you for bringing the A+ game. Both Race Directors were very pleased with everything you did and they thank you for a job well done.

Thanks to Cindy Wisner for her leadership in putting this event together along with everyone that supported you. Detroit Detroit Region SCCA did a top rate job as expected.

Look forward to seeing some of you down the road this season. Thanks again for a fun weekend.

Ladies and gentlemen! It has arrived! This weekend is the DRSCCA Season Opener brought to you by LaFontaine Auto Performance! Weather is looking lovely and we're getting close to hitting the entry cap! Start the season and your 2025 class championship run strong. As a reminder you have to compete in 5 events to be eligible for that season trophy.

If you just can't get enough autocross, we're almost out of student spots at the solo school on Saturday but we are in need of some more instructors and volunteers. It was surprisingly rewarding to help the students last year go faster and see their excitement and I highly recommend instructing even if you don't think you're the fastest driver out there. If riding along with a student isn't your idea of a fun Saturday, then volunteering will help the event run smoothly and you get to work with a great group of people to put on a cool event. Can't wait to see everyone out there!
