Join us for Rapid River Community Clean-Up Day! On Saturday June 27th (this Saturday) we’ll meet at Rapid River Pub and spend a few hours sprucing up our sidewalks and park. Bags and gloves provided, plus free pizza lunch afterward! Every volunteer will also be entered to win a $25 gift certificate from the pub. Bring your family, bring your friends, let’s come together, show our pride, and make a difference one sidewalk at a time!

Northern Auto Detail and the pub are sponsoring a community cleanup day/morning this coming Saturday, June 27th from 10am-Noon. All volunteers welcome! (Weather permitted)

We will have bags and gloves provided and have FREE pizza at the end from the pub. 🍕

We will be walking our sidewalks and cleaning up garbage and weeds, and also our local Masonville Park and ballfields to collect all garbage and debris.

Meet at the outdoor venue of Rapid River Pub (Rapids Landing) between 9:30-10am!

Bonus: all volunteers that participate will be entered to win a $25 gift certificate to the pub (drawing will be immediately after the pizza lunch)

This Father’s Day, I’m reflecting on the best journey I could have ever imagined, being a dad. Shortly after my oldest was born, i found purpose and I quit drinking. They became my reason to get my life together, to strive, and to never give up. These girls have taught me more than I ever thought possible about perseverance, about business, and about life. Watching them grow into these ambitious young ladies, dreaming of their own businesses, I see that all the lessons I’ve tried to teach them have really taken root. I can’t wait to see what they will show the world next.
And I can’t forget my parents, who have been my biggest influence. They taught me business, grit, and the importance of never giving up. They’ve shown me how to find a solution no matter the challenge, and because of them, I’m able to be the kind of parent I always aspired to be.

This brand-new vehicle, with under 1,600 miles, was driven all the way from Texas to our shop in Rapid River. Even though it’s brand new, we discovered early signs of corrosion, inside the frame, at welded seams, and from transport. This isn’t surface rust. This is internal failure.

Factory drain lines route moisture directly into the cab corners… but there’s no proper exit. Water sits trapped inside the structure until it finally breaks through from the inside out.

What you’re seeing here is a completely rotted-out cab corner, damage that developed long before anything was visible outside.

This is a common design flaw on certain vehicles and similar drainage systems.

No blame on the owner. This happens silently.

If you own a truck or SUV, it’s worth having the hidden areas inspected before it reaches this point.

Rock chips exposed the metal in this wheel well, giving rust a place to start. The damage was sanded and protected before it could spread further.

It was truly an honor to be part of this year’s Memorial Day parade here in Rapid River.

Days like today are a reminder of how fortunate we are to be part of such a strong and supportive community. Seeing everyone come together to recognize and remember those who served means a lot.

A big thank you to Rapid River Pub for getting me involved and helping make it possible to participate. I’m grateful to have been included.
